We stayed at the Pegasus Hotel for 2 weeks during September into October. When we arrived the girl on reception was expecting us and knew my name before I had even reached the desk. Great first impression as it seemed well organised.

Room was clean and a decent size. 40euros for use of the fridge for 2 weeks seemed a little unreasonable so decided not to bother with that. Room was cleaned everyday except the Sundays I think and the towels and sheets were changed a few times during our stay.

Breakfast is the same everyday which if staying for 2 weeks can be a little hard to face by week 2 but it's no different from any other hotel in Europe.

Pool area is nice and there is plenty of sun loungers. Food at the snack bar was nice and very reasonable price wise. My only complaint about the pool area is the amount of wasps around it. This appears to be a problem all over Corfu because the island is very green but I felt the hotel could maybe have tried to keep the wasps away somehow.

Couldn't fault any of the staff at the hotel, all very polite, from the girls on reception to the lady serving coffee in the morning and even the girl at the pool bar, always gave a smile and a hello.

There are a lot of regulars that go to this hotel and I can see why, compared to other hotels I saw in Roda the Pegasus looks to be by far the best. Very close to the beach, bars, shops and restaurants.

Sadly there are A LOT of mosquitoes in Corfu which did make it hard to sleep. You could say this isn't the hotels fault but when the cleaners leave the balcony door open everyday then they are partly to blame. Normally mosquitoes are easy to catch/kill but the ones in Corfu appear to have been trained by the SAS, Very good at hiding and only coming out to buzz in your ear when you switch the light off.

Great holiday - Excellent Hotel - Would return without hesitation however Roda does lack things to do if you get fed up lying around.

Beautifully clean hotel with friendly staff. Nothing seemed like too much trouble and there was a really good range of snacks and drinks available. Breakfast was always served by a very friendly and hospitable lady ( I believe she was one of the owners). Located in a really good spot in easy walking distance of Roda town and the beach. The pool and surrounding area was clean and well set up. Ideal for couples and families, the pool was child friendly as well as suitable for more confident swimmers. Not the place if you are looking for loud, drunken nights but perfect as a relaxing get away. In my view it is definitely worth a return visit.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the street are probably a little noisier although not a huge problem.

Ok, I've been to Greece many times so know what to expect in terms of star rating, however this hotel was not as good as I expected it to be based on previous reviews.

Firstly the positives;
Short to town and beach from hotel
Large pool area with plenty of beds and mattresses for these
Tasty food at snack bar
All staff really friendly
Breakfast ok, although would be very repetitive if you were there for two weeks (we only stayed for one)
Our (second) room had a shower cubicle - only one I've ever seen in 10 years of going to Greece! (room 111 with pool view)

Negatives;
First two nights we were in a room at front of hotel which was extremely noisy and we couldn't sleep. Road is very, very noisy and we asked to move rooms within 15mins of arriving. As soon as another room became available we were moved. Even once we moved the balconies for all the other rooms are at the sides of the hotel,so road noise is still heard. There is also a road that runs behind the hotel which was noisy when you were at the pool area!
Rooms are an ok size. The bathroom of the first room was very small, but the second one was a good size. Beds were really, really hard and uncomfortable.
Pool area was noisy. There is a house next to hotel and most mornings there was chainsaw noise - I think a lumberjack must own it! They insist on playing music around the pool, so no chance of peace and quiet to read and relax - I think it's to drown out the road noise!
Pool could have been cleaner, only seen it cleaned once when we were there and it was full of bugs and even a frog one day! Also blue feet when you touched the bottom which they need to sort out. It was awash with wasps and apparently had been all summer. People were getting stung alot, and I think the hotel need to consider spraying to keep this under control. There was also a Hornets nest outside our room that you had to walk past to get to pool area - they were attempting to get rid of this themselves but apparently had been there for a while - so maybe it was time to call in the professionals?
They allowed people to have their dogs round the pool area and on two occasions there was dog poo - one of the people who had dogs there worked at the hotel so no excused for this - should have been cleaned up!

I like Roda, nice people and lovely food however beach not nice. Much better going to Kassiopi on the bus from Roda as the beach there is fantastic.

Overall it was ok, and we enjoyed our evenings in Roda with some delicious meals at the Roda Park and Roxanne's being particularly good. But it wasn't the nice quiet, relaxing week we were after which was a pity as we were blessed with blue skies and sunshine every day - just wish I had taken ear plugs!

I would go back to Roda again, but not back to this hotel due to the noise levels.

Room Tip: Only 4 rooms have a pool view and are right at back of hotel. Room 111 is one of these but didn'...

Just got back from Corfu after having stayed in this hotel. Overall the hotel is a very functional fairly modern hotel, apparently run by a Greek family. Although we did not get to know them too much they were always friendly polite and happy to help. The hotel itself is fairly good, it's mostly clean, well laid out and well maintained. The rooms are good size as are the bathrooms. The negatives are the towels which are only changed every three days, a little mildew in the shower, a very noisy extractor fan and the problem which every Greek hotel has around shower curtain length!!! However there was always hot water and the rooms were cleaned daily.
The breakfast was basic with bread rolls cereal cucumber tomatoes cheese ham eggs marble cake yoghurt, juices. Unfortunately no variation to this.
Went to the Greek night the hotel ran, and that was quite alot of fun after a few drinks. Overall I would recommend the hotel to others.

A family run hotel set in lovely grounds with a beautiful swimming pool. We stayed for one week. Our room was spotlessly clean. Cleaners came every day. Breakfast was plenty full. Excellent location for local busses to Corfu town and Sidari. Short walk to he beach. Highly recomended for couples or families for a nice quiet holiday.

Myself and two friends booked a week at pegasus hoping to have a nice, quiet and relaxing holiday with a nice clean pool which is close to a sandy beach. We got all of these and we're very pleased with the service and facilities we received during our stay.

To put the holiday into perspective, we are all 23 years old. We weren't fussed about night life (there isn't much) and we paid just over £400 for the whole holiday including transfers, flights, hotel, insurance. For this we got a triple room with breakfast. We were offered a free drink at the bar upon arrival due to our room not being quite ready.staff were very apologetic. We didn't mind at all.

The room consisted of two single beds pushed together, they were perfectly comfortable, and a small put me up bed. This wasn't very comfortable but it wasn't unbearable, admittedly it could have been a little better. However, the friend sleeping on it always slept well and didn't feel the need to complain. The room was nice, clean and basic. The balcony was big with a tabe and two chairs. The bathroom was clean and an adequate size for a budget holiday. The only negative being that the shower did make the bathroom floor wet and we had to put towels down to mop up the water. The shower itself though was powerful and always had hot water. We managed this situation by taking the shower ff f the wall and juu
St holding it to wash ourselves. This minimised the amount of flooding on the floor. It really wasn't that big of an issue.

We paid 15 euros each for a weeks worth of air con (which is controlled by a metal tag attached to the room key) and the room safe. Not bad considering the price of the holiday.

The pool is amazing. It's big, very clean, pretty to look at and was. Never anywhere near busy (we went in the first week of the summer holidays so this was a bonus!) there were always loads of sun beds to choose from. The mistresses are all free and the pool bar is a lovely touch to a well designed pool. The lobby areas big, with a large screen for tv. The staff played the opening ceremony for the Olympics on here and everyone sat in the bar and on the big sofas. The hotel seems to draw really nice people to it and upon our arrival I was glad to see people returning to Pegasus who had stayed there before.this is always a good sign in my eyes. The staff are LOVELY. So helpful, always smiley, always friendly and work all round the clock. They created such a comfortable and happy atmosphere.

Breakfast consisted of: cereal, muesli, Greek yogurt, bread (white and brown) with a toaster for you to use, jam, marmalade, honey and chocolate spread. There was Madeira cake, which is delicious! And eggs that you can boil yourself in a little egg boiller. Only takes 10mins. There was also ham and cheese. I loved breakfast as I am a lover of continental. No cooked breakfast, ie sausages and bacon. lovely dining area, very big and you can also sit outside and eat it by the pool. The lady who works at breakfast is so lovely, always greets you and very friendly as all the staff are.

The beach and restaurants are all with a 5 minute walk and there are loads to choose from. The food is lovely and reasonable priced. Lots to try and everyone is road is lovely. There really was something about rods. Everyone was lovely, all of the Greek people were so laid bad, down to each and welcoming and friendly. The beach is sandy and there was boat hire and waterspouts on offer. We even had a Thai massage on the bech. We hired bicycles for 5euros a day and went for some rides to explore the area.we also hired quad bikes. We paid 20 euros per bike per day and also had to out fuel in it.this was by far the best day we had! Go explore the island on a led or quads! There are some lovely view points, some beautiful beaches and lovely little typical Greek villages. We only wish we hadn't left this till the lat day as we would have loved to return to some of the gorgeous places we found.

Overall, this hotel was amazing. Just lovely and perfect for what we wanted out of our holiday. I would definitely 100% return. I wish I'd booked for two weeks, not one! It a quiet area, but not dead. The bars always have things going on but it's far enough away from the hotel that you can't hear or be disturbed by any noise.the hotel is on a main road it this isn't as it sounds. It's easy to cross and isn't really even worth mentioning in my eyes. There is no footpath for about 100metres if you have children. Didn't seem to bother anyone with families that were there with us. There are 2 pool tables at the hotel but they are a euro or two to use and there is also a computer to use in the lobby for a charge. There is free wifi in the lobby . The tennis courts are derelict so don't expect to be able to use them. There is a big waterpark and sports centre about 10,in drive from the hotel.

Suitable for those looking for a quiet, relaxing, friendly holiday in the sun. Roda is a truly lovely little place :)

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the side of hotel are probably a little quieter than those facing the front road.

A nice hotel. Room modern and clean. Pool area is great. Large pool and lots of sunbeds, so none of the towel-bagging nonsense. Pool bar and snack bar in well kept grounds. Breakfast was basic, but plenty to eat - yoghurt, cereals, toast, croissants, rolls, eggs, cheese, meats, tomato etc. Was fine for us as we only eat cereal or toast at home anyway. Main resort and beach is only ten minutes away. You do have to walk alongside the road, (no pavement) for a short section, but it is very wide and well lit.

Roda itself is lovely. A nice beach, not too busy. Lots of bars and food places along the front, and some superb restaurants in the evening. A few more lively bars, but not too loud or 'clubby' - probably suit couples and families more than those looking for a really lively place.

Finally - staff all very friendly and helpful - especially the breakfast lady, who is really friendly and welcoming to those with slight hangovers!

Only problem we had was on the first night, as our room was right next to the bar area, and there was a party going on for the Olympic opening ceremony. That particular room was quite noisy as it opens down to the reception area. We complained the next morning, and the receptionists were really helpful, apologised a lot, and offered to move us if we wanted. No more noise after that, so was fine, but Hotel let us stay in the room until late in the afternoon with no charge, as we had not had a good first night, which was appreciated.

If we Corfu again, we will definitely go back to this hotel - a very relaxing holiday.
