The Pegasus hotel, Roda is a little gem, as hotels go' its spotlessly clean and its in top shape, rooms cleaned daily and its bright and airy' towels are changed and bed made every day, and the staff are the best, Irene will attend to your every need in the restaurant at breakfast and Sharka the receptionist knows all about Corfu, buses, trips, where to go, where not to go, ferry's and cruises at the harbour, anyone booking the Pegasus is in for a treat. Its just a few minutes walk to the main area of Roda.

Roda, Is a smallish village, not really a big place' but enough bars and restaurants to cater for everyone, nice meals for twix £5 to £15 euro's Mythos beer per pint £2, try a greek salad 'you will not regret it' not many shops ( thank God ) but supermarkets for all your needs. Roda is a nice pleasant place to holiday, bars with entertainment on the sea front.

Corfu is very rustic, a real living breathing Greek island, and beautiful to boot, hire a M/bike, Scooter or car' they're very cheap, We hired a 400cc quad wouldn't recommend it, we went all over the island with it and found it extremely dangerous ie skidding, drifting, up on two wheels etc, The Greeks are so genualy friendly and will do anything to help you. Nothing is overpriced and all is affordable.

I can highly recommend Roda and the Pegasus hotel for a really nice holiday

Just as all the other reviews have said this is a great base for a trip to Corfu. The family who own the hotel are lovely people and very involved in the running of the hotel. They all go out of their way to make sure you have a good time. One of Irene jobs is serving coffees at the breakfasts and making the lovely homemade pastries . About once a week Sharka provides some excellent pool games to get everyone involved and some challenging water aerobics. There is no obligation to join in but with such a family atmosphere you can't help but get involved. Costa looks after the lunches at the poolside bar, serving everyone with a smile. Everyone was very helpful in giving advice and recommendations about restaurants and activities as well as getting to know you.

This was our first visit to Roda and the Pegasus, many of the guests staying at the hotel were returners who come back and stay every year. I guess like the Benidorm series, it was interesting to see people meeting up for their annual holiday. However, saying that whether you are staying for the first time or a repeat guest you are are all welcomed and treated exactly the same.

Rooms have air conditioning at an additional cost, this was essential on August. Towels and sheets are regularly changed and the rooms kept clean and tidy. Shower rather small but this is on the upgrade list for next season. Our rooms were facing the road rather than the garden which meant it was a bit noisy at times with people racing up and down the road. This was not a problem for us and certainly not continuous. I think the garden rooms would be quieter.

Lots of sunshades around the pool and plenty of space to relax. This is probably one of the few places where you can always get a sunshade so no need to get up at 7.00 am to find your spot.

The hotel is on the edge of town and it takes about 15 minutes to walk down to the beach, where there are a lot of restaurants for your evening meals. The town is relatively quiet after dinner although the bars and shops stay open very late.

As a family of seven we hired cars and saw quite a lot of the beautiful coastline. A visit to the water park (near Corfu town) was very successful and an afternoon evening boat trip to Corfu town was a pleasant change for us. All in all a lovely holiday and we would not rule out returning sometime in the future. Thanks to all the staff at Pegasus for giving us such a good time.

Room Tip: Overlooking pool and gardens.

This is a friendly, clean family run hotel with lovely pool area. The staff can't do enough for you & make your holiday a memorable experience. It just far enough from the main beach area to be quiet but still within easy access of bars & restaurants. A small restaurant Kalamaki next door to the hotel is not to be missed, the food is delicious & prices amazing.
There are many people who return regularly to the hotel which is a reflection of how good the experience is. We would have no hesitation recommending the hotel & will definitely be returning to it.

Room Tip: We had a room facing west so got the late afternoon & early evening sun on the balcony.

it was our first time here, we stayed for 2 weeks, we were on the front of the hotel and we did get woke a few times every night with noise as one or two do use the road like a race track,
our room was ok, enough storage for your clothes,
did not like the breakfast the beans or scrambled eggs were just inso kept warm by a t light, so I had toast and a boiled egg, Irene the lady who runs the breakfast is lovely and likes to fuss over you, you can sit in or out side, from 7.30 till 9.30
the pool area was nice it's kept clean and the pool is cleaned and tested every morning, we had a couple of snacks at the pool and I must say they were the best pool snacks I have had in a long time, they made a couple of buns up for our flight home made nice and fresh early in the morning,
the hotel is only 3/5 mins away from it all

We booked this hotel after reading all the good reviews and we were not disappointed! The pool is probably the best in roda, well definately better then any of the other hotels we passed. The hotel is immaculate with the cleaners in every day except sunday. We had a double bed and bunk beds in our room and we were lucky enough to get pool view as there are only four rooms overlooking the pool.We had a fridge which was big enough to put a few beers in and water and maybe a bit of chocolate for the children. We also had aircon and a safe which we paid 90 euros for the 2 wks .
It is a family run hotel and they are really friendly. Breakfast consisted of hard/ soft boiled eggs, toast, beans, scrambled eggs or mini hotdog sausages, cereals, croissants, chocolate spread for the children. It was really nice and we were welcomed every morning by the lovely Irene. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they were often seen mingling with the guests as many return year after year. Snacks around the pool were lovely and very reasonable and served by kostas who was very funny. It's literally 5 mins walk to the Main Street . There are a lot of Mosquitos here so take your sprays/ plug ins etc! . We had a really good time and met loads of lovely people and would not hesitate in booking this hotel again. Roda is a nice place, quiet if you want it to be but there are also bars with music, karaoke and entertainment if you want it.

Have been going to Roda for a number of years now and have stayed in various hotels however after booking into the Pegasus we have never looked back and have been staying here the last 5 years. In our opinion the best hotel in Roda!! The people who own this hotel are the friendliest people you would hope to meet nothing is too much bother for them. Rooms are always kept clean and towels etc changed regularly, the same with the pool area everything at this hotel is immaculate. Breakfast is good with a great choice on offer and served by the most lovely person Irene she makes everyone so welcome. Everything in general is fantastic at this hotel cant fault it. I would recommend to anyone i have already booked for next year.

Just come back from 9 nights at the pegasus in Roda corfu. We checked in at 10pm and was greeted by very friendly receptionist. The reception is manned 24/7 which is always nice as customers check in at all hours. The bar is open until about 2am and offers a wide range of drinks and cocktails. All served by very friendly staff. We were charged extra for the safe and air con but still reasonable. Breakfast was OK but could have had more choice but buffet style and as much tea and coffee as you want once again served by the happiest and friendliest staff. The rooms was of a good size. The fridge under the counter got very hot as it was enclosed, and when you took your key out all the power to the apartment was cut including the fridge. Hotel maybe need to look at this. The pool, pool side bar and cafe was all great. The location was ideal just 5 minutes walk from all pubs and restaurants. Drosia restaurant and the Italian at the cross roads very good and roda park good also. Pirates bar and Crusoe's was excellent could get carlsberg on draught both bars right on beach front. Would I return to the pegasus.... Yes. Would I recommend.... Yes I would. Been to acharavi previously but preferred roda. The Pumphouse restaurant in acharavi well worth a visit also.hope this helps. Paul
