Wonderful atmosphere. Cocktails are fresh and hearty...yummy grown-up smoothies. The food is fantastic. If you are staying at the Marriott it's a short trip and well worth it. The employees are courteous and welcoming. The bathrooms are a perfect combination of all the luxuries of home in a tropical setting. If you choose to get there by public transportation (or hotel provided transportation) you MUST arrange your pick up in advance. Takes some time to come and get you. This is not a place you go for a quick lunch. Expect to sit, enjoy the scenery and soak in the beauty. Oh...and they are only open during the day :)

Lola's - once a well kept secret - is a go to place for visitors to the pacific coast in the Guanacaste region in Costa Rica. We have been there numerous times for lunch and have never been disappointed. Great food and even better atmosphere! The real topper was using Lola's for my daughter's rehearsal dinner; see pictures. It was the best! A great menu, wonderful atmosphere and where better to have a reheasal bash than on the beach in the sand. Even the doubters were whisked away by the atmosphere, food and Christi and Don's welcome for all our guests. You will not be disappointed!

Staying at the JW Marriott and ventured over to Lola's for lunch. Great view of the beach and ocean. Food and drinks were really good and service was good too. You can walk to it at low tide or drive over. Short drive. Closed for dinner.

Lola’s
We have had 2 great days here. Thank you Nicole, our lovely cheerful waitress. We have enjoyed the best ceviche ever! So nice to meet Gabe and enjoyed chatting with you. Lola’s is a brilliant location at Avellanas, where I could sit, relax and take photos of my husband surfing with Gucci from Banana Surf. Love your food and margaritas. Cheers.

This is a place you have to go searching for, from the pave road it is 15 min on a dirt road heading towards the beach, we'll worth the search and nice little adventure. The beach is one of the nicest beaches with small surf for surfing and lots of shell,s to find. Lola,s has very fresh food were you can watch them in there open kitchen preparing it. Lots of seating on the beach or under a roof. The food was so good and the service was friendly. You can meet Lola who is a 400Lb pig who has her pen in the back, no pork on the menu.
