“A older, family-owned and run hotel in Andorra”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

This hotel has parking, a major reason for stopping. There are numerous hotels up to 4 stars but finding parking before some racing motorcyclist gives you a fist full of fingers is rarely possible. In addition, this hotel was within a block of the routes in and out of Andorra.
We chose to have breakfast and supper included with the room. The room itself was small with a matrimonial bed. Not certain if it is a full double bed or smaller. There was a radiator for the bedroom and a separate one for the bath. At first we were told that the heat would come on at 8pm but that was later corrected to NO Heat as it was shut off till next fall. The room contained two wood dining room chairs and a small table with an old TV. We needed help to get the right control to work right.
The bath was small, the toilet stuck in a small space beside the door. There was a bidet and a tub with curtain. There were 4 towels, but, having such trouble getting warm water from the sink, neither of us used the shower. The TP was a little rough.
The room on the second floor had windows that could be opened. They looked out over the local soccer stadium where we could see the field. Since teams were assembling, we ambled over to watch a "high school caliber" game. The local team won, of course.
When we checked in, we were greeted by a college-age young man who was courteous and helpful. He offered to give us a room with good WiFi as that was it was not good in every room. And he came up to straighten us out on the TV remote. It turns the young man goes to college miles away but was home for the Easter holiday schedule. Instead of partying, this young man pitched in and help his mother manage the hotel and restaurant.
At dinner, which was only from 8 to 10PM, we had fried trout and pork ribs. The trout was trout but the ribs were more like pork cutlets. Breakfast was just continental with little choice or variety. But the coffee hit the spot.

Room Tip: A bus tour to Andorra may be advisable.

The staff wasn't very friendly and there was noise on the stairs all night. If you're travelling with a pet be aware that they allow animals but have lots of rules about it.

The good tings: easy to find, free park, view to the mountains and the price.

Overall an average place to stay.

The hotel has a definite 1970's feel to it, but it does the job for a good price.

The room was small, but clean and the wi-fi worked well. There is a reasonable restaurant on the main floor with a patio in summer, but I would call it more of a bar for locals. The hotel is located close to the main highway, south of the urban area. Lots of free parking.

For 41 Euros a night(35 room, plus another 6 for a good breakfast) for two, you really can't go wrong.
