My husband and I went on this trip last month on a long weekend to Sydney and it was great. The owner runs the tour himself which made a good impression on us as this usually means they will do a good job! We were a little dubious as it was the cheapest tour out to the Hunter Valley but were pleased to find it was fun, a very relaxed different style of tour for us as usually we pack as many things into the day and come home exhausted. This was great - more of the Australian easy going pace. We were surprised how friendly the emus were at the park (they rested their heads on our shoulders!), then you visit a few smaller boutique style wineries, gorge on chocolate and fudge and visit an awesome deli with oils, breads, cheeses, gelati, chocolate and they just keep on giving you the samples (recommend the basil pesto cow cheese yum!). There are a few songs and games to keep you entertained but mostly as it's a small group it's like hanging out with a small group of friends checking out the views and good wine. Plenty of time to sit in the sunshine and chill out too at lunch. Will highly recommend it to friends.
