This is an email i sent to the owners of The Buck Inn the day we checked out on the 10th February 2013. Dear Sue & John, Thank you very much for a fantastic nights stay we've just returned from for my birthday treat. Every time we walked in we were warmly welcomed with a smile and a Hello. Your staff are a credit to you and your food is outstanding. We had dinner when we arrived in front of a roaring open fire and fell in love with the place instantly. Our evening meal of 16oz steaks were to die for, quite literally the best steak we've had, and the choice of beers were excellent. The room was very comfortable and relaxing too. We're definitely coming back for more. Cheers.

We ate twice at the Buck Inn whilst in Malham for 3 days, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendliness of all people/staff in the pub.
Good value for money and good choice of local ales.

I have seen mixed reviews on here abt this pub but i liked it. Firstly it does a great selection of beers and ales with Timothy Taylor Landlord the pic of the best. It's cosy and lively with a separate bar from the restaurant. On the nights I ate here whilst staying in Malham I had the Ribeye steak and Beef and Ale Pie both of which was excellent. Some of the staff were a little slow but that did not spoil my time here. I recommend a visit!!!!

We stayed across the road, but visited the pub a few times over our weekend, kids enjoyed the pool table, adults the warmth and good beverages, hot and cold!
We ate there one evening in the restaurant and all six of us were very happy with our dinners, no room for pud but the array on offer was tempting. Extensive menu to suit most tastes with daily specials which added variety to the menu.
Thank you for being very welcoming and looking after us so well.

A bit of a locals pub....beer prices much higher and not as nice as the Lister Arms. Not bothered with food, but again prices look higher for a lower quality
