Enjoyed my stay here as a solitary businessman and may well come back en famille. The bed and room was comfortable and the staff were all polite and friendly. Food was well cooked, very substantial (you're unlikely to make it to the desert) in the home cooking style (and none the worse for that).
Pool was quiet and clean when I went - there is also a gym which looked good but I forgot to bring trainers.
Bar is pleasant and frequented by locals who are happy to engage in intelligent conversation.
Easyish walk round the coast and back over hill (take a stick and wear stout boots as it's wet and slippery at times). Was told it's also possible to walk upstream towards village but didn't find time for that.
