Went to an 80th birthday lunch here and overall it was a very enjoyable afternoon. Very helpful staff in a nice calm environment with unhurried no rush service. However, I was disappointed with the meal content. No complaints about the quality or the presentation but a piece of salmon with a few new potatoes and some rocket, to me doesn't command a £12-13 price tag. I have never had such a meal without some sort of vegetables. The starter was lovely as was the dessert so that keeps my rating up. Another in our party thought the stir fry was a bit bland, didn't taste any ginger.
That said, it wasn't all bad,it was a nice family get together and we were all well treated.
