My family and I stumbled upon this place after walking around West Kirby. What a place, I have never come across such friendly service, the staff where so helpful and welcoming to us. It was very busy when we arrived so we had a little wait on the food, but it was well worth it. This is a lovely café with a great vibe and a different menu to what you normally find in others. We shall be returning on our next visit to west Kirby and would recommend it to our friends.

Tiny cafe opposite train station with art on the wall and a distinct 60's feel. Personal service with great breakfast cooked to order from local suppliers, served informally with a smile and all at a reasonable price. Home cooked cakes and pastries to tempt. It is VERY popular so go early or be prepare to wait.

Called in The sweet Pea twice now for an early lunch. On both occasions we received prompt service and shown a menu with an extensive choice.I can reccomend the home made soup and sandwhich combo, great value.I had the soup (varies each day) with a greek salad sandwich and on another occasion with mozzerella, tomato and basil (I think ham can be added0.My hubby had salami, smoked cheese and tomato, both on a choice of bread.Children are also well catered for and there is seating at the front of the cafe. There is also a WC.
Can't fault it. There is also art work for sale and greetings cards.
