I've been coming to West Kirby since I was a very small kid with my parents. One reason is because we always liked it and there is quite a lot to see and do there. Secondly, it is very near my hometown of Liverpool and easy to get to. Thirdly, it has a very nice marine lake, which is free to visit and walk around and where often you will see people bringing their small boats and their small surfboards with sails.
West Kirby is a small town, and there are a number of such very nice and quaint towns on the West Wirral. Anyway, if you come to West Kirby you must come and see the marine lake; it's free, you can walk all the way around the lake, and you might see someone sailing their boat in there. I may add, it's a very photogenic place, especially when the sun is setting.
