“Hidden Delight.”
Reviewed 23 September 2013

Stopped for 5 minutes to see the monument and, never having been there before, ended up walking for 2 hours, so delightful was the place! It was like going through a maze, finding all the various paths. The views across the Dee are spectacular, and so many benches have been provided by people who obviously loved and appreciated the area. We will visit again soon.

“Blackberry way”
Reviewed 11 September 2013

I spent the afternoon here last Saturday picking blackberries. Beautiful woodland, next to a beach, boat bobbing, sun out, Welsh hills in the distance. perfect.

Lovely walks with nature all around, feels more rural than it actually is. Love the sand stone rocks and braken, very colourful

“A piece of Heaven”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

You step on to Caldy Hill on a summer's day and enter an oasis of peace and tranquility far away from the madding crowd down on the beach. You have the option of taking a walk or sitting on one of the numerous benches admiring the view over the estuary, which is pretty spectacular. In winter the paths can be muddy and suitable footwear is required.
