Being regular Diners of all things Indian and living in west Kirby we hadnt been here for a over a year,.
Mainly due to a few minor bug bears.
We are regular curry goers and ususally go the Shuel but have given this a wide berth for a while as we find the staff a little on the creepy side!
We have been to the Spice club in Moreton for their Buffet and that has gone down hill rapidly and the food is not he freshest and they have too many choices less is more!
However we went to the Royal Bengal yesterday (6th July) for their Sunday Buffet and was excellent, just the right amount of food and more importantly fresh- which si the key toa good buffet.
It is also incredible value @ £8.95 a head which is unbeatable for a quality product- it is very popular hence one chaps visit of over 5 times while we were there obviously getting his moneys worth!

Very mpressed and will be returning- the owner seemed to be much happier than the last time we went perhaps because he was busy!

Had my first ever curry here in late 70's (chicken Korma). come or get takeaway about once a month. Curry in many other indian restaurants tastes like they have a vat of genera sauce and just add one or two extras per dish. Here you can tell easily that its all fresh. sometimes can take a few extra mins but only because everything is prepared to order fresh.

Fab little restaurant. Staff very attentive and polite. Food is fabulous. Definitely must try. Prices are good and Sunday £8.95 is well worth it.

Went yesterday , inside was like a cafe rather than restraunt, there was a family with two children loud and crying , as we paid over 80 pound for bill we felt very uncomfortable , and will not be returning. Food ok nothing special.

Went yesterday for the Sunday buffet and found it a great experience.

The restaurant isn't the biggest but it was very busy, it was about 630pm and I think there was only a single table free.

We had the buffet which is priced at £8.95 and it was very good.

We started with poppodoms, inlcuded in the price and they were yummy.
They had a few different starters, onion bhaji s, chicken tikka, a spicy onion chilli chicken (very nice) and a mushroom curry.

Mains were chicken pathia (very nice and rather spicy), a mango chicken dish which was like korma but with fruit and was nice, a fantastic lamb sagwala dish and a chickpea & potato aloo, all VERY tasty.
Lovely fluffy rice, nice naan breads and plenty of everything.

They put the food out in the correct proportions and is always fresh and plenty of it :)

The place was packed and I know why, great food and great value - what a combination !!!
