Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst visiting friends. The hotel is a two minute walk from the ferry terminal, which means it takes about 15 minutes until you are right in the middle of town. The staff at the hotel could not be more friendly and helpful, breakfast was superb and our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. I would happily stay again.

What a fantastic hotel, David and Hayley are such a great couple, not forgetting little Bristow, very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable rooms, breakfast was great, would definitely stay again. Perfect location, two minute walk to the Mersey Ferry Seacombe Terminal.

Would recommend this hotel 100%

I've been in a lot of hotels. Some expensive, some not....But I couldn't fault this Hotel for quality or value.
The location is excellent. It's so much easier to drive here and park your car, than risk driving into Liverpool Central. And the Hotel is next to the ferry terminal . So for a fiver, one can travel into Liverpool(And back!) in style. And enjoy all the sites of the city, without the car!
The owner is unique. He is the Best...He actually cares! Which is quite rare!

If you ever want to visit Liverpool. Then I recommend that you stay here... It's Awesome!

The owner of this hotel was very friendly and welcoming. While the room itself was quite basic, it was clean. Our room faced the front road, so it was a bit noisy. Since it was summer, we had to keep the windows open. The breakfast was very nicely prepared, with eggs, bacon, beans, tomatoes and toast. Some mornings when it was busy, you sometimes had to wait a little for the breakfast since the owner cooked everything himself. We had a car, but it was a 5 minute walk to the ferry to Liverpool. Overall, this hotel was great value for the price, and I would definitely recommend it!

I found the hotel through Booking.com, for which the price for a Kingsize Bed and a single, with a newly refurbished ensuite shower room was £75. We found the place very easily, and liked the free parking to the rear of the hotel.
All the staff we met were very helpful and pleasant. The suggestion to eat in the New Brighton area (a short drive away) was most welcome as after a day of sightseeing we didn't want to travel back into Liverpool for the evening meal. The location is as near to the Seacombe Ferry Terminal as all the other reviewers have stated, and the cost for a return of the Ferry for 2 adults and a child was £20.50.
I'd like to recommend the place to anyone, but particularly to independent travellers who would rather enjoy a personal style of hotel than someone who prefers the anonymity of the chain budget places.
Lovely owner, who is working so hard to build up this business, and we would certainly return.

Room Tip: We didn't have a view, but our side room (no 6) was big enough for 3 people and pretty quiet.
