Stayed here for one night at then end of April as a romantic interlude for my husband an myself. It exceeded all our expectations. The room was stunning, the staff extra friendly (ask for Pete to give you a tour of the castle and tell you some of its secrets) and the overall atmosphere fabulous. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Stayed Saturday 5th April for one night and most impressed with the whole experience. Impressive castle in a beautiful setting, this stay was booked through a special offer from itison (paid extra for staying Saturday night), I really hope there will be another similar deal soon as I can't wait to go back! The room had a feature stone wall and a most comfortable bed, the service from waiting staff for dinner and breakfast was exceptional in addition to most helpful host Jordan. Our itison offer included dinner and bottle of wine in the Orangery restaurant, table booked for 9pm but when we arrived they were too busy, we were advised to have some drinks in the bar so thought we were in for a long wait, however half way through first drink we were taken to dine in the Dungeon restaurant - the setting is amazing and definitely a better option than the Orangery, the waiter who served us was most professional, efficient and gave 5 star service. Made use of the spa which was a lovely experience, although it is small there was no one else there whilst we were there. Hope to return to Dalhousie very soon.

Me and a friend went for a spa day at the castle, we live locally so didn't need to stay overnight. Overall the castle is pretty impressive, has lovely views and has lots of character! The spa could do with a bit of a facelift if I'm being honest, one of the rooms doesn't work so really it only had a steam room and a jacuzzi bath which is a bit disappointing for a place like this. However our massages were really nice.
We went for afternoon tea in the orangery restaurant which was amazing, every part of it was brilliant and dietary requirements are very well catered for, as are likes and dislikes! Could not fault anything we had.
Really nice day but the spa is a bit of a disappointment.

I recently attended Dalhousie Castle for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed my time. The castle grounds were amazing and the overall running of the wedding was first class. I'd like to thank all the staff who were extremely helpful especially the barmaid Ashleigh who was really friendly and ran the busy bar smoothly.

Wow, what a place. The old spooky castle with all it's history and menace is so full of character! Peter the porter provided added entertainment with all his chilling stories!

All the staff were excellent!

A+
