Wish I had visited this attraction years ago, it is the most stunning place the website and leaflets just do not do it justice, There are acres and acres of stunning gardens and features, you will need a whole day really to appreciate this place, its is user friendly for wheelchairs National trust have done their best in this area although there are quite a few slopes not accesible but the map provided show where to go
we visited in middle July and the hydrangas and lilly pond were just stunning appearing everywhere, this is top of the list for many more visits in the future, the staff were so friendly and helpful, lots of free wheelchairs available

“The Best”

Wow! We enjoyed everything at the Bodnant Gardens. We took so many photos of the beautiful flowers, water features and trees. Walking the many diverse trails was peaceful and calming which appreciating the planning that went into this special place. So many varieties of trees and flowers from all over the world. The terraces, waterfall, old mill area were great. One of the docents, Angela, was particularly helpful. She spoke with us for quite a while sharing her love of nature and these gardens making our visit even more lovely. We could have stayed all day. Thank you for this gem.

“Picture perfect”

We stopped off here to break our journey to the Holyhead ferry. Having never visited the gardens before but being keen members of the National Trust, we planned a diversion to Bodnant for the afternoon. What a delight! The gardens surpassed our expectations and we were able to purchase some choice plants in the adjacent nursery as a ( hopefully) permanent reminder of a perfect afternoon. Incidentally all the staff we encountered, from garden volunteers to cafe staff to the girls in the garden centre, were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. A place to return to.

Went to Bodnant Gardens yesterday. What a super place. Everything was great. There is plenty of parking and the toilets are very clean. The little restaurant is spotless with good service and an excellent choice of food. After paying our entrance fee we decided to join the National Trust and were dealt with very efficiently by an extremely helpful member of staff. (The entrance fee for the day was deducted from our annual membership fee). The gardens themselves were excellent with plenty of interesting paths to explore, they are not laid out with flower beds but are a more natural experience with many foreign plants and trees. Whoever planted all of this up many years ago was very forward-thinking and this now provides much pleasure for the present and future generation. All in all I would thoroughly recommend Bodnant for a lovely day out.

“Very enjoyable and peaceful here”

First visit here for a few years and I remember the times I used to come here in the 1950’s.Excellent parking and very friendly and helpful staff throughout the gardens, starting at reception where customer service and friendliness was second to none. Really enjoyed looking at the plants, flowers etc. and the walks especially around the Terraces .The Rock Garden, Old Mill .The Dell, Waterfall, Yew Gardens/Dell etc. were as delightful and relaxing as I remembered them. Not to forget the experience of walking through the Laburnam Arch. The hours passed by so quickly and appreciated the seating benches, with views Very much recommended
