Beautiful gardens, wide range of walks from gentle strolls to longer walks. Due to the landscape there are some steeper walks and steps. Wonderful views and plenty to see wherever you look. Highly recommended.

We spent all day here and did not want to go home.
Beautiful gardens, woodlands, ponds and water falls all looks very magical. This garden in well worth the visit we will be coming back really enjoyed looking at all the colorful flowers and I could smell the roses as we walked in the rose gardens. Plenty of parking spaces you would need walking shoes as it is a large garden and it can be hilly in places. We took a picnic and there was a few places to sit and we visited the gift shop which was very good and friendly helpful staff.

When I visited Wales I wanted to see Bodnant Garden. What a lovely surprise, walks, ponds, pretty glades and paths opening up to trees and plants of every description. A pretty waterfall where we stopped for a well-earned coffee. Its important to wear a good sturdy pair of shoes as in parts the paths vary in size and can be slippery and sometimes a little muddy. There are guided walks but I'm not sure if these have to be pre-booked ahead of your visit its worth checking though.

They tell me that these are the best kept estate gardens in all of the UK, if there's better then I would pay good money to see them. Wow, now I know why we could not get a park when we tried yesterday afternoon, it was a gorgeous sunny day and the car park was completely full. Anyway lucky for us we have a spare morning and this time, being a work day no issues. First a note, what you are actually paying the entrance fee for is the gardens, the actually house is still privately owned, smart move by the current owners, as they donated the gardens to the National Trust, upkeep costs would be enormous. The words that spring to mind are "Totally Stunning". There are acres upon acres of gardens, forests, ponds, streams, fountains, oriental gardens and many walking tracks. A totally wonderful morning spent walking miles and miles in a truly beautiful place. We only had the morning here but I would imagine the average time required to walk the entire place would be most of one day. Tip: the Laburnum arch in full bloom is amazing to see first hand and remember to wear good walking shoes, I am not exaggerating, the gardens and walking paths go for miles and miles.

This is a beautiful gardens with views towards Snowdon. There are plenty of walks, waterways, ponds and buildings. The property is in private hands so can't viewed inside. Gardens are enclosed and some go down to the streams at the lower gardens. A gorgeous day helped but plenty to see and do if it was more overcast. This is one property that NT does exceptional well.
