I cant say enough about how impressed we were by the Eiders Bed and Breakfast. from the moment we walked into reception we could tell immediately that we had made an excellent choice. Caroline who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming, the room we booked was a Luxury ensuite and to be honest it was Luxury in all aspects. Great views over the Duck pond !! Great breakfast , place was spotless I cant find anything negative to say about the Eiders, would definately recommend 100 %.

What an amazing stay we had. After a 4 hour journey, greeted by James who was very welcoming and tea and cake was perfect. The whole place was clean, tidy and everything worked, which doesn't sound impressive but after some of the places we've stayed this was very refreshing.
What a fry up!! Ate at 9ish and not hungry again till gone 2. Very high quality food and sat by the window watching the ducks play. Sorry Caroline couldn't not give you 5 star. You will be recommended by us to our family and friends. The bar is set high hahaha. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and feeding us so well.

We decided to have two nights away with our kids (11 &7) and decided on accommodation at The Eiders based on trip advisor reviews. What can I say ... Great choice! The hosts were very welcoming and after a two hour journey the cake and cups of tea upon arrival in the conservatory overlooking the duckpond were most welcome. It was particularly nice being a family that the children were made to feel every bit as important and welcome as the adults with a selection of games also available to keep them amused! We had the family room which was spotless with a double bed and two singles easily fitting in the room without feeling in the slightest bit cramped. The room had everything you could possibly need - fridge, kettle, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bottled water, biscuits, digital radio, radiators, extra heaters (not needed!) - even torches which came in handy when walking to the nearby pub for an evening meal on our first day there. The shower room was superb - seemingly recently refitted, powerful shower spacious cubicle & screen, plenty of hot water, tiled walls & floor surfaces and an abundance of clean towels. And then there was the breakfasts ... Faultless! A great choice of cereal, fruit & yoghurts followed by a choice of cooked breakfasts - one of the best full english's we have experienced, smoked salmon on day two for our son - again superb and a soft boiled egg with soldiers for the daughter with the offer of another if it was overdone ... Dont panic Caroline, it wasn't! Finally, after breakfast, a further touch for the kids - bread to feed the ducks ... always a winner! We have stayed at a number of hotels / bed & breakfasts over the years but if you want one which is well up there in our top few, look no further than The Eiders! We certainly look forward to a future return.

Having read the good reviews The Eiders had on Trip Advisor we were looking forward to our stay. We were not disappointed. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely big shower room with a hot, powerful and reliable shower. Caroline is so welcoming that within minutes we felt relaxed and at home. The tea and cake on arrival was a bonus! Breakfast was excellent, a really good choice of freshly cooked food. I cannot fault this place and hope to stay there again in the future.

Stayed for two nights in the Delux room complete with a 4 poster bed. Very nice room and very clean. Thought the 4 poster would have looked better with drapes and not just the woodwork.

The hostess was very obliging and the breakfast was excellent.

Would be a great place to stay on the summer with the pool at the rest of the hose.

All in all a very nice stay.

Charming hostess as other reviewers have commented.Tea and cakes on arrival which were most welcome after a four hour drive in scorching sunshine. What a breakfast! More than I could eat and had to ask for reduced portions..absolutely delicious. The ducks provided much entertainment during our stay.A very convenient location, handy for Cromer, Sheringham and the coast road to Blakeney. Pub for evening meals is just a short walk down the road.Gave 4 stars, should have been 5 but our room didn't have a window and as it was so hot we had to sleep with the patio door open, however we didn't have any intruders!!

The Eiders is our second home, we have had many visits; all as pleasing as the others. The best hosts ever, lovely swimming pool (heated by solar panels), amazing ducks to feed with cute ducklings. We went in the pool every day and it is good itself as a swim but also to cool off after a hot day. Caroline and James are always willing to help with the assistance of their children (very good). It definitely lives up to its five star rating. Brilliant location with varied sea-side towns around and a lot of attractions, places to visit and places to eat like the Dormy Hotel which is excellent (they just happen to own that too). The gardens of the old vicarage in East Ruston is a nice place to visit with it's 32 acres. The Eiders is and excellent place to stay with the most spectacular hosts making nice breakfasts.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are clean and nice, the luxury room is extremely luxurious.
