“Doggie friendly!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 January 2014 via mobile

We called here on Saturday after a walk from Llandudno with the dogs. We ordered coffee and sat outside in the January sun. Our coffee arrived, swiftly followed by a bowl of water and a tin of biscuits for the dogs. Great coffee, great service and nice to find a dog friendly place x

“A Great Little Taste Of Wales”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 January 2014

Having called here previously for a coffee and snack, we decided to return for lunch. We reserved a table, and when we arrived the January sun was streaming through the windows. The menu is a snack, light bites, lunch theme, and caters for a wide variety of tastes. We chose a goat's cheese and red onion quiche salad, when it arrived we were stunned, such a step up on the tired leaves, cucumber, and tomato one usually gets. This was an appealing and delicious salad that had been created with some thought. Having finished that it would have been rude not to have ordered pudding, so a cafetiere of coffee, a slice of lemon tart, and an apple and plum tart, found their way to our table, and ably complemented the preceding salad. With it's locally sourced home made food and it's shabby chic ambience the Olive Grove is ideal for a quality meal.
My only criticism, albeit a minor one, is that the toilets, although scrupulously clean, could really do with decorating, and ditch that toilet brush, ladies!

“Breakfast Roll? Absolutely!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 December 2013

We were let down by the late opening of our usual spot for breakfast so popped into the Olive Grove looking for a bite to eat and some hot drinks.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing us with a sumptuous hot chocolate and a pot of strong coffee while we waited for two huge breakfast sandwiches to be freshly prepared. Both my wife and I were pleased that the sausages were clearly of a high quality as was the bacon, not just cheap and watery.

We certainly enjoyed our breakfast and will return to hopefully spend more relaxed mornings in the glorious December sunshine!

“Lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 August 2013

The Olive Grove is on a busy main road but there is a car pakk not too far away. The deli is very cosy with only 5 tables. The menu is quite extensive for such a small place. The food is very good and freshly made. I had a chorizo, mozzarella and chutney panini with a little salad, this was delicious, my friend had the welsh rarebit which he said was very good. I would definitely recommend the Olive Grove for a lite snack or brunch.

We called in with friends on the off chance we could grab some lunch. The staff were very friendly , the décor is lovely and you are spoilt for choice with the menu. The portions were very generous and all the food was delicious. We will definitely be going back.
