Dear Alan G

I am delighted that the wedding that you and your wife attended at Gisborough Hall was so good.

The hotel lends itself to wedding receptions, location, ample car parking, and ambience, vista for pictures, food and hospitality.

The drinks prices are in line with our competitors and are under continual review.

I hope that you will soon return.

Kind regards

We were given a voucher for our wedding for dinner, bed and breakfast here as a wedding gift, and we will definitely be back. Very friendly staff on reception and in the restaurant, comfortable room and beautiful food both for our evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Even though the hotel is full of period features, lots of coving and bits and pieces that in a lot of hotels mean lots of dust, the entire hotel was absolutely spotless. Fantastic stay, really close to Whitby, we will definitely return.

The welcoming roaring fire in the entrance hall set the tone for a lovely stay at Gisborough Hall. High standard of decor throughout and excellent attention to detail. The staff were friendly and attentive. We booked a double room but were given a kingsized bed. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were really nice. There was a wedding going on while we were there and even though the function room was very close to our room we weren't at all disturbed by it. The grounds are nicely tended so the outlook from all the windows is pleasant. We'd definitely stay here again.

Stayed two nights on dinner, bed & breakfast package. The hotel is an old manor house with plenty of character. We stayed in the Manor house itself, and the room was very cosy. The staff were all, without exception, very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We at in the main restaurant on both nights and the food is of a very good standard and quality. Guisborough is close to Whitby and the North York Moors and just around the corner from Middlesbrough. If you can get a deal including dinner, Guisborough Hall is great value for money. We didn't use the Spa so can't comment.

Stayed for business in March. The hotel setting is stunning with fantastic views. Rooms where clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. The food however could have been better.....I had a long wait for my meal and when it arrived it was only luke warm. Overall though it was a plesent enough stay and I woukd use the hotel again.

The strength of this hotel is the warm, friendly and cheerful staff. The setting is magnificent, the rooms are large and comfortable and the food is excellent. A perfect location for a short break. A pity the hotel doesn't have a leisure facility/pool which would make it even better. Very dog friendly too.

My husband and I have just recently had our wedding at Gisborough hall, and from the moment we saw it , we knew it was the venue for us.
The service from Nicola the wedding co-ordinator was fabulous, she listened to our requirements and made sure that she put herself out to give us what we wanted.
The staff in the restaraunt and Bar grill were lovely, the food was amazing and the breakfast staff and the breakfasts were fantastic.

On the day , we couldnt have wished for anthing more. The staff are so professional, and attentative and nothing was a problem for them. They all went out of thier way to make sure we had the best wedding ever and they made our day so special and memorable.

Alan the toastmaster was also fantastic, he made sure that everything went to plan, and him and his team did an amazing job for us on the day. All our guests said that our wedding was one or was the best weddings they had ever been too.

The atmosphere was fantastic and every things just flowed to perfection.
If your thinking of having your wedding at Gisborough hall, then just stop and book it! You wont be dissapointed!

We even stayed a second night , just for our honeymoon night, and Lord Gisborough came and played on the piano whilst we were there in the lounge. What an amazing memory for our wedding.

Thank you again to all the staff at Gisborough hall, we will definately be back to visit you again for our anniversary .
