After been recommended to try here we were pleasantly surprised. The Sunday dinner was as good as ya gran would make with all the flavour and a bit more. Service was spot on would definitely visit again. Best Sunday dinner I've had in a while

Firstly the gentleman who usually serves in the coffee area on a Sunday was fab! He couldn't of been better, looked after us very well. We went in and had a light bite on this occasion and although the price was a bit high for the portion I got i could tell it was fresh so I didnt mind.

I returned again and ordered a Sunday dinner again same gentleman service was fab. Waited 1hour 30mins for an a Sunday dinner a decent size though I thought and presented well. Just a Sunday rush I guess!

Went back again for another dinner, and when it got to placed infront of me I was a little disheartened. There was nothing roast about it! My one slice of fatty beef and my one roast potato served with over cooked cauliflower and undercooked boiled potatoes and soggy green beens just wasn't what I was expecting for£6+ and what should come with a 'roast beef dinner' it was more of a left over from Sunday Monday dinner ! Where was the mash??? Root veg?? Onion Garvey??? There's a lot of improvement to be made here

Hope they do improve and I will return as it's a nice little place!!

I called late on an afternoon to give my son an after school treat, he changed his mind after ordering his drink and the owner was very accommodating. The staff were friendly and even answered all my little boys questions

Good menu variety from light bites to main meals. Portions were just the right size. Plenty of vegetarian choices also.

front area of cafe is much nicer as back area smelt of strong disinfectant and there was no soap or hand wash in the loo's.

Food was nice but the place was lacking in atmosphere.
