“Nice and relaxing getaway”

Beautiful site, friendly service, and a big swimming pool are the best features of the hotel. Food is expensive and not so great. While there, visit Caorle (about 45 min drive) and Pordenone (20 min). Prosecco Road is another thing to do if you have 1 or 2 days.

My husband and I stayed here as park of a group tour. We have been to Italy several times and I have found it is hard to find a great mattress and a modern bathroom at a reasonable price. Villa Giustinian was wonderful in every way. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was modern, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the grounds are beautiful. The pool was the highlight of the villa. It was beautiful. I would recommend this as a great place to stay at a central location when touring this area of Italy. One could easily go to Verona or Venice an return for peace and quiet. Lovely.

This is the most sumptuous, friendly and elegant place for a party. It's a Palladian villa with a huge garden with statuary, a lovely pool, a quiet location and a fantastic restaurant and enoteca (wine bar).

This family-run hotel hosted a marvellous anniversary party for us and thirty guests on a Sunday night. Our guests were made to feel very welcome, the food (we were helped to design a four course menu which was very reasonably priced) was divine - a very elegant fish menu. All the flowers, individual menus etc were included as a matter of course. The wine was fantastic, well priced and flowed very freely!

It's definitely a place for weddings/parties etc, though they were happy to cater for us on the times we were doing a recce.

The suites (although expensive) are awesome, decorated with putti and paintings. The other accomodation in what was a stable block is very nice.

The family could not have been more friendly. When a couple of our guests were delayed due to Ryanair flying them to Trieste rather than Treviso, the hotel waived their bill for the night, even though they could not have resold the room at such a late stage.

Portobuffole itself is a one-horse medieval town with a lovely restaurant and a friendly cafe (with a cat that seemed to live at the top of a vine!) and lively festivals. The town is around 40 minutes in a taxi from Treviso which costs anywhere between 50 and 70 euros in a taxi. From there, the train to the heart of venice takes half an hour and costs a couple of euros.

Very nice Venetian villa about 40km from Venice. The (very expensive) suites are in the villa itself, decorated with frescoes and stucci, the rooms are in a side building, and have a more modern, standard feel.
And they are rather well soundproof. An important point if (like us) you stay there on a Saturday night, since the place is very popular for weddings. And a countryside wedding in Italy is huge and noisy! If you would like quiet and romance for your stay, just avoid Saturdays!
The restaurant has a couple of set menus that are rather reasonnable in terms of price for value.
