Originally from Somerset we visit at least once a year and have now found the perfect base to visit friends and enjoy Gods County.
Bernd has really worked hard to present the perfect location to rest and relax while being in travelling distance to Yeovil / Taunton and Bath if you so desire. The log fire was always burring and Bernd always ensured that there was fuel to burn. You have a cooker / washing machine / shower and the ability to sleep around 7 people although I'd recommend a small family. The top deck bedroom has an amazing view and is best enjoyed during dusk with a glass of wine.
I wholeheartedly recommend this barn to others from all walks of life at the detriment to it becoming popular and me missing out on securing dates in the future. It truly is a retreat to get away from the grinds of busy life.
It is a drive to the shops so plan this accordingly, however the local pub offers food from 10 - 2 and then 6 - 10 so if you don't fancy cooking head down there and enjoy the local Thatchers Cider.

Nice long weekend stay in the Barn in Barrington village. The Barn is next to Barrington Court and grounds which is worth a visit.
The Barn was comfortable and accommodating with a lovely log burner and owners were very friendly.
Barrington Boar Pub in the Village is worth a visit. Very friendly with good food and drink.
The addition of Wifi and Freeview TV could be a welcoming bonus to the Barn.
