another great week with Sharon and Tommy. Food magnificent and the bedrooms very comfortable and quiet. This is really the only place you should ever stay in the north. Food would challenge the majority of establishments in the UK.

I stayed for 2 nights and have to say how lovely it was. Sharon and Tommy made me feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I got to stay in the lovely room on the main picture. It had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. The ensuite with a bath was very spacious when compared with many other B and B's. The scottish breakfast was large enough to set you up for the day without being overwhelming. I will be recommending this place to anyone heading up to the area. I will be returning and look forward to it.

Stayed here for 2 nights sadly not for a great reason (Gran's Funeral) but Sharon made us feel very welcome from start to finish. Sharon showed us to room which was room 2, lovely king size bed, tea/coffee making facilities, tv, and an en-suite, bed was so comfortable and cosy. Breakfast is served between 8-8:30 every morning with requests taken the night before. Can't comment on the food at dinner as we did not have it but the breakfast was very tasty with more than enough to eat. Given the time of year outside was cold but our room was always nice and warm, we had family staying at another B&B in the villiage and they were saying there room and whole house was pretty cold, thankfully a problem we did not have.
Location wise it can't be beaten, two secs walk from the nearby spar shop and chip shop, a further 2 min walk takes you down to the river. Nothing is too much hassle for Sharon and when we come back up we will be staying here, we got speaking to the barman of the Bannockburn and even he said its the best B&B in the Villiage and the only one with every room to have ensuites so this speaks volumes for the good job Sharon is doing.

We stayed here for one night (we were travelling with friends who occupied the other first floor room) on our way north to Orkney. Kindale House is quiet, though in a central position, which makes access to the village very easy. Parking was on the road (I don't think they have any private parking) but this gave no problems.

The welcome was friendly and helpful. Our rooms were of a decent size, and very comfortable, with good en suite facilities. The only slightly disconcerting moment came when we were asked to give our breakfast order for the following morning five minutes after our arrival - but it turned out to be a very good breakfast.

It's not the most exciting B&B we've ever stayed in, but we agree with the mass of other reviewers in recommending Kindale House. We'd certainly want to stay here again on our way to or from Orkney; another time we'd be interested in trying the evening meal option, since other people speak highly of it.

Sharon was most welcoming and we had a lovely large airy room. It was all spotless and we had a fabulous breakfast. Would recommend this B&B to anyone. Lovely little village to walk around and we had a good meal in local restaurant.

Room Tip: Our room was excellent in the front ground floor.

Excellent room, very large with comfortable sitting area. Very clean, good hosts. The evening meal was excellent. My husband and I both had fish that was caught the day before. The breakfast was extremely good. Would recommend to anyone.
