This small restaurant is very friendly and accommodating. They cater for the casual visitor and parties. The food is all sourced locally and is freshly cooked to order. Eggs are free range and the sausages are made from local outdoor reared animals. No alcohol licence but you may take your own bottle to enjoy with your meal - always a bonus in my view, given the price of wines in UK restaurants! Not the cheapest of places to eat but great value. As a bonus they have an "Aladdin's cave" where one may buy brick-a-brac and antiques. Closed throughout January.
