Came to this beautiful cottage with a group of gal pals to celebrate life and we all had an excellent time. Housed us perfectly, comfortably and cozy. The architecture of the cottage is a dream too! Location was convenient to walk to local pub and shop. Was easy to stroll through the countryside and enjoy the landscape as well. Would definitely book again!!!
The house is located in a beautiful area of the Cotswold's, there's a nice little country pub down the road which does very nice food and beer, which is always a plus in my book, locals are also very friendly! Plenty of open farmland and walks to take in the area, it's a great place for hiking enthusiasts if you're that way inclined. It's also pretty well connected to other towns, you will have to take a car to see them, but it's not too long of a drive to get to places like Moreton-on Marsh and stow on the wold, and both of those towns have loads of shops and great restaurants to visit.
The house itself looks wonderful from the inside and out, the furnishing is good, plenty of nice plushy chairs and couches. In particular the living room and the kitchen look great, the latter is well equipped and spacious. It also has a lot of character to it, there's plenty of quirky attributes such as the stained glass on some of the windows, the false door at the front and the globe shaped drinks cabinet; which adds a fun feel to the whole place. Overall a wonderful place to visit and to spend a summer in :)
This is a truly special property with a lot of quirks - the stained glass all over for example. Perfect location set in the heart of the Cotswolds. All together charming. We had a wonderful stay
