We stayed at Kingscliffe recently while at the Horse of the Year Show. It is by far the best B & B we have ever stayed in. We were given such a warm welcome by Jenny and nothing was too much trouble. She even took us in to the NEC and brought us home at night, as part of the service! The accommodation was lovely, clean, warm with comfortable beds and a lovely hot shower. The breakfast was the best we have had anywhere without a doubt! What more could one ask for? First class, can not wait for our next visit.

Attending exhibitions can be a tiresome repetition of overpriced hotels with no release from the hamster wheel of work, talk work all evening, and little sleep. The Kingscliffe B&B is the perfect antidote just 5 minutes from the NEC in a peaceful rural setting. The one room is private located away from the house, very quiet, well appointed, comfortable, with an excellent en-suite bathroom. Outside there is a private terrace where weather permitting there is comfortable seating for 2. It is hard to think you can be just five minutes from both the NEC and the airport. Their welcoming proprietor is happy to run you into the NEC each day to save on parking and wasted time spent travelling to the distant car parks of the sprawling NEC site.
The beds are comfortable, heating and hot water responsive, and the full english breakfast excellent.
There are lots of nearby eating establishments within a few minutes drive.
For those that like to walk or go out for a run each day this property is perfectly located away from main roads and dangerous traffic.
I travel a lot on business around the world and I cannot rate this property highly enough. It is competitively priced for the area but has so much more to offer than any hotels in this class.

This oasis of calm and charm lies deep in the NEC "woodland", but with native guide Jenny to convey us to and from the NEC, our stay was made complete. A warm welcome; a helpful hostess; clean and comfortable accommodation with stylish decor and an excellent breakfast: what more can English holidaymakers require. Even the sun shined for us. We would heartily recommend this lodge for your countryside break.
Minuses? There is a railway line at the bottom of the garden, but this cannot be heard when tucked up in bed. Enjoy!

Great find. Accommodation very clean and comfortable in this private lodge in the garden.
Lovely to sit on the decking enjoying a pre concert glass of wine in the sunshine before Jenny very kindly drove us (and picked us up after ) to LG Arena.
Enjoyed an excellent nights sleep followed by a lovely breakfast.
Kingscliffe is so handy for NEC yet in a rural spot.

We were so pleased to meet Jenny and stay at her B&B. She was gracious during our visit. Would have loved to stay more than one night! She picked us up at the nearby National Motorcycle Museum and drove us to a nearby pub for dinner. The best full English breakfast of our three week stay in the UK! Best B&B we visited during our vacation.

Room Tip: You will be well taken care of - you will be the only guests in this small B&B. Very special!
