I recently stopped at The Boundary Hotel in Leeds, which, lets face it, is a contractors b+b, not that there’s anything wrong with that, they have to stay somewhere. And if it was £25-35 a night, I wouldn’t complain about anything at all (apart from rats fighting outside my window, which there weren’t, outside this hotel, but I’m just saying….though I did see one large rat in the car park when I came back at night, but it looked like a nice rat. I actually like rats), but for £49 a night, excluding breakfast, I want more than this (just forget about the rats). The sink plug was filthy, and white.
Now here let me give a little tip, if you can’t be bothered to clean properly, don’t use a white sink plug, it’s just a tip that’s held me in good stead for many a long year, to those who like to skimp on the cleaning. And the shower tiles had black filth between some of them. I ran my fingers along some of it and it came off, disgusting. DISGUSTING. So really it would have been quite easy with no extra time consumed, to rectify these grumbles. Just a quick spray of cleaner on the shower tiles and wipe and they would have come up like new, and a dirty white sink plug, no, NO, NO! As an owner of this establishment, would you really want your bathroom to be in this state, you too would be disgusted. So why do you expect us poor travelers to put up with it?
