The hotel was nice. You could not expect anything better from a budget hotel. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The atmosphere was friendly and the gentleman that was behind the reception desk was lovely. The breakfast was really nice and cooked to perfection.

All I needed for a remarkably good price. Bed was comfortable, room was en-suite, with TV and drink making facilities. Beakfast was well prepared and substantial. The room I had was on the small size, but I guess that's how they keep the price down. This was a short overnight stay so it didn't matter to me. I only needed somewhere to shower, have a cup of tea and go straight to sleep.

Room Tip: Ask about the size of the room as mine was small.

Stayed here while working in Headingly for a couple of days. My room was very clean, nice modern (if small) en suite with a great power shower. It had everything needed, wardrobe, tea making and a flat screen TV. My bed was a 4 poster, a bit OTT for me, very firm mattress which suited me. I thought it might be noisy being at the front of the hotel by the road, but I wasn't disturbed at all.
I ate in the restaurant as I was on my own and didn't fancy going out. The food was basic but for the price it is fine. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance if you want something more. The staff were very nice and friendly. Great value. I booked direct and paid £35 p/n plus £5 breakfast. I'd definitely stay again if working in the area

Perfectly adequate for a one night stay-room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Well placed for getting in to Leeds or watching a game at Headingley. Lots of bars/restaurants within easy walking distance. Hassle free checking in/out. A little more TLC would elevate it to being a very good hotel, but would probably mean it would no longer be a budget price. Will certainly use it again, instead of the more expensive Village hotel just up the road.

Room Tip: Room 8at the rear was very quiet, even on a Friday night.

Stayed here 1st March. We were about 10mins away by bus from Leeds city centre. The hotel was well worth the money, the rooms were clean and basic, but ideal as we were only there for two nights.Breakfast on a weekend is between 8.15 and 9.15,and was well worth the £5 each. The hotel was situated on the main street. There were quite a few shops as the street is very long, there was also a few pubs dotted along it.Me and hubby just went along the main street on the friday night, there were loads of students out in fancy dress,we decided to keep going into Leeds until the following day and night.Soo many shops to look at,we were knackered by 4oclock.We went back to the hotel for a few hours then got bus back into centre for our night out.Had a good night out. Me and my hubby will definitely be back to stay just not sure when.

This hotel may not be decorated to the most recent fashion etc.... but we found our room to be clean and tidy. The staff on reception were friendly, the hotel was quiet and it is situated in a good area for traveliing to the City Centre. Overall, the price was very good and the hotel itself was fine. Ideal for couples, young people and also families

A basic hotel which ought to do what it says on the tin but doesn't quite make it. The carpet throughout is very tired and shabby and doesn't give a good impression on arrival. The room was small as expected, no problem there, but a third of the TV screen can't be seen when lying in bed. Very annoying and it could so easily have been re-sited. The TV remote control and the cup were both filthy. Luckily I had some spirit wipes with me so was able to clean the remote control but both were disgusting and that is unacceptable. Very tired decor which does need bringing up to date.

A good shower and a lovely quiet room - was woken up by a persistent blue tit in the tree outside the room which was much better than the expected traffic noise.
