Good deal for a low price. It is perfect for a group of friends, for a young couple or families with kids, not for young and restless. It's an isolated location, in a bay, far from the city of Tsarevo (about 3 km). The beach is large and beautiful, not crowded. The rooms and all the hotel were very clean. In the rooms you have all what you need: kitchen, fridge etc. In the restaurant: open buffet. The food propose a great variety of salads, good pastry and fruits enough. The poolbar was very close and all drinks, ice cream, coffee, fruits, was for free. At 7 pm - disco for kids, and after dinner, 9 pm, showtime for adults. After the show, quietness...

The staff try very hard, but their English is very poor and they seem reluctant to take any responsibilty. They didn't have our room ready when we arrived at 9 PM and it took forever to get hold of a manager. The food was terrible, luke warm, all cabbage, fries and meat that mostly resembled spam - have you ever heard of "beikon"? Well, at Serenity Bay it is pan-fried slices of spam... The flies seemed to like it. The animation team was horrible and terrorized the entire resort with loud - and I mean loud - disco music and unintelligible shouting from 9 AM to 11 PM. Their shows were poor, and their humour tended to be racist - Italians are pick-pockets, English are drunks, etc. And when the shows were over and the area shut down at 11 PM, they lit up the stage and fired up the music and started rehearsing their "routines" much to the discomfort of those trying to sleep. The other guests were mainly Romanians, Russians and Bulgarians. They didn't know how to queue, they slapped their kids around at the pool and smoked everywhere. The bars were small and served drinks in small plastic cups. They closed at 11 PM and after that you had to pay - and you could not buy local, cheap (but nice) spirits and beer, but only expensive imports. The rooms were nice, though, (A/C insufficient, as usual) and the beach wonderful. We found a nice beach bar away from our noisy hotel and spent a lot of time there. We found out how cheap everything is, and we wondered, how Startour (TUI) can justify an All Inclusive fee which is just as expensive as in Spain or Greece, for instance. On our day of departure, the transfer bus "forgot" our hotel, and we nearly missed our plane - and left as stressed and tired as when we came. All in all: They tried to run the resort to the standards of a 4*, but didn't even come close. I blame mainly TUI for their classification of the place.

Good location, on the beach, in a nice bay.
Ok for the restaurant service, ok for food.
Nice pool, clean and a good animation team, for kids and for adults too.
Small hotel parking - we use an improvise parking.
It's an isolated location, not in the city of Tsarevo. It is ok for families with kids not for young and restless.

Our first impression was good. Hotel looks nice, proper and friendly. After 2 days it change a little bit.........
Rooms: First impression was good but after 2 days we realize that the staffs didn't clean in a good way. When i will make a sanitation check like in a really 4 or 5* hotel the result will be disgusting, specially when you are travelling with kids. Otherwise the rooms have all what you need, kitchen, fridge etc.

Restaurant: Open buffet. The easiest way for the staff. It had more the flair of a cantina. The staffs only clean up the table.(they are cleaners, not more) A smile of them will be nice. From some of them you not even receive a "good morning". On 2 days we had meat what was over the time and i don't want to know what going on in the galley. For vegetarians a dream. Salat and fruits enough. Pastry very good. But the Chef have to taste from time to time his product, no taste !! Bulgaria, a country with one of the best balkan cousins what i know but not in this hotel.Open buffet means low budget in the kitchen !!

Pool and beach: We stay mostly at the pool(good for kids). Had the poolbar close to us and all was for free. Apetizer, pastries, coffietime.... perfect.
Poolsecurety very poor, even for the beach. On the beach was non !!
In high season for sure to less sunchairs. Preseason = perfect.

Spa: I used the turkish bath(its more a hammam). Clean, good and i enjoyed it. My wife took a massage. This is 5*. Satisfaction pur.

Animation: They are not profis like i know it from my job but they try to do their best. Very very friendly. Kids club very good !! From the morning till the evening they are around you.
At 7pm kids disco at dinner, 9pm showtime for adults. After the show quitness. This is poor because many people want to dance or to have a little bit action. QUITNESS IN THE DARKNESS!!! It disapointed me, that for the animators wasn't allowed on their freeday to join the people or to use pool or beach. It is not wished from the managment to be close to the guests. I heared on our last day, that they are afraid about the manager. Work with fear ??? At least, i give a excellent for the animation.

Reception: My feeling was and is, that the left hand don't know what the right hand do.
Not profesional. But friendly. Manager said, he worked in germany and learned their. I asked myself, what he learnd their ????
Maybe he should go in a really good hotel to see and to learn !!!

At least i have to say, that for the price what we payed, 7 days all inclusive, was it o.k..
But never come in the full season. It will be overloaded for the staffs.

I work in a 5*up class hotel and i know what i say !!!

Room Tip: Never come in a high season

We stayed in the hotel for seven days.
The plus:
good room,
enough food
quiet beach, warm water
very good animation
the minus:
the beach not very clean
the food not tasty
the water from the pool very cold

But the kids had a very good time, we as partents enjoyed also a good time, so we recommend this place for families with children

I don't know how it;s working for the rest of the season( Aug for ex.) but in Sept. it really sucks. From the very arriving on Tsarevo, there is nothing to lead you to the Serenity bay. No sign, nothing to serve directing you to the hotel.
At the resort, there is the same problem as whenever I was on the seaside, parking. There are no parking places paid or not, and the cars are spread like water splashes, on all ways...On the reception, dfferent attitudes on different receptionists. Always same stupid answers to the unsolved questions"It is not..."Also, the rules applying to some kindergardens are working here as well, treating you as a handicap people. I felt insulted by the numbness and lack of proffesionality on some receptionists...
On the food side, there are good things about the preparation, but also, handling of the food is often dangerous and primitive, so watch what you serve in the plate, maybe it was contamined...The food line is working just on one place, ala carte is totally missing, the waitering is accidental, lack of training for the stewards, the rating is equal to a self serving cantina...it is more similar to a student facility than a 4 star resort...
The accomodation is fine, the beds are okay, the room is neat and proper, no carpeting though, making the even smallest trace of sand an annoying discomfort. The bathroom is nice but there is a strong smell of mold. It is disturbing and it is no desappearing even after we aired the bathroom for hours...The water is flowing slooooowly from the sink or shower, maybe clogging is too effective....
The pool area is served by two attendants, for 4 hours a day, too little on my opinion, based on the 4stars ratng of the hotel, towels are served based on a deposit fee, but returning or changing them is a problem! to the staff because of the system they applied...the passage to the pool passes through the main lobby, there is no other acces way for the residents, therefore you can meet people arriving from the beach on your way to the restaurant or room,...there is no exchange point, the one in the lobby was opened just during the month of August...
The beach is public, but the umbrellas and the chairs are from a different resort, Regina Mare, so you have to pay...there are two rescue boys until 6pm though...
Day by day, all these small disadvantages are makin' a hell of a vacation, especially when instead of a smile, you are treated with soureness and ingratitude...
I didn't like it....good value of the places, bad people....
