Stopped here for lunch whilst visiting Buje. Sat outside which was not ideal with traffic passing by but the service was very good and the food was fine. We had omelette and beer which went down well.

Enjoyed two beautiful evenings at this restaurant. The food was divine, the service impeccable. The local wines complimented the evening perfectly. We were surprised to find it marketed itself as a Restaurant Pizzeria as the menu is extensive with lovely local produce. Truffles compliment some dishes also. Multilingual staff.
Faultless. Thankyou for making our time in Buje memorable.

Rondo is by far my favourite restaurant in Croatia. It is located in the centre of Buje, small Istrian town, very beautiful and historically rich. The restaurant has parking behind the building. They offer a large selection of fresh and home-made dishes, prepared and served beautifully and for a rather small price. If you happen to be anywhere near north Istria i highly recommend you visit this place. Of all the things I tried here my favourite is chicken in Brie sauce with grilled vegetables. I also recommend you try one of their excellent pizzas or Boškarin, istrian autochthonous type of cattle.

We weren't expecting much from this restaurant on a round-about in Buje, especially since the interior was little bit overwhelmingly pinkish. The tiny terrace outside is only for the café, if you want to eat you are sternly directed to the back. The dining room is at least bright, but not much of a view. The service was a bit gruff to start, but luckily our kids charmed the waitress into smiling.
The Malvazia (local grape variety) did not disappoint here either. But it was the food - oh my! Obviously prepared from scratch, with the freshest ingredients (we could here the chopping, banging of pots, sizzling of hot skillets and murmurings of a chef from the kitchen), the meal was very memorable. I had the goat cheese ravioli in with truffle sauce - just heavenly. My husband had the seafood and mushroom risotto - delectable. We shared a ruccola salad with fresh parmesan cheese - it was huge and very tasty, we could barely finish it. The girls were given a custom-made chicken breast dish with fries, which they liked. We did not have room for dessert, unfortunately.

Go here for the food, but don't expect great service, nice views or a spectacular interior.
