To be honest, I didn't go to Ireland for Italian food. Imagine my surprise when this quaint little gem gave us a meal as good, if not better, than anything we found we in Florence! As is true of authentic Italian restaurants, the house wines were fantastic, the homemade pasta elegantly simple, the fresh ingredients in perfect balance and the personal attention from the gracious proprietor absolutely delightful. If you're in Dunboyne, you don't want to miss this one.

Friendly service (our waiter was also the owner!) ... fabulous authentic Italian cuisine...plus a nice wine selection. Although the dining area downstairs is small, it truly added to the ambience. Perfect way to begin our Ireland vacation.

My husband and I frequent this restaurant 2-3 time per month and we are never disappointed.
Da Panza's food is authentic Italian cuisine of great quality and always freshly prepared.
The ambience is friendly and relaxed and the service spot on.
Extensive menu and wine list too - our favourites include Pollo alla Cacciatore, Pollo Genovese and Penne Calabrese.
Definitley worth a trip or two!

A family restaurant , friendly and welcoming- known locally for being the best pasta in town. Consistently good food with decent wine selection. Always a treat.

The restaurant is a real italian one: the owner is from south Italy, very friendly, and the food is excellent.
The room is quite small, altough an upper floor is available, and the environment is good. Quick service, nice staff, just a little bit expensive in my opinion.
It is worth a tryout, I will return there next time.
