“Great place, wonderful people, must go and stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 March 2014

From the moment we set foot onto the premises of El Molino Santisteban we felt at home. This rural bead and breakfast is located in a stunning part of Andalusia where the sweat smell of orange blossom tickles your senses. It is a perfect place to stay for those who seek a quiet retreat, yet wish to explore the highlights of the area, all within 2-3 hours driving distance. Some, like Malaga - a lovely city definitely worthwhile visiting - is only 45 mins away. For those who love nature there is the natural reserve of Sierra de las Nieves close by. History and culture lovers will surely enjoy Granada and Ronda. But even if you just wish to relax, the Sieverts family will allow you to do just that at their gorgeous estate. Their hospitality and kindness is unrivalled and they will go out of their way to advise you on trips with tips, maps and other useful information. In short, great place, wonderful people, must go and stay!

Still basking in the afterglow of spending a few nights at this wonderful establishment. This is a great place with comfortable rooms in beautiful surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches. It's greatest asset though is the owning couple who go out of their way to make their guests really relax and do what they are suppose to do - enjoy a holiday.

This is particularly a goodplace to hire out as whole for group or family holiday - either self-catered or looked after by the gracious hosts.

This is a true golden egg amongst b&b. The place has a true spanish atmosphere, nice rooms, a good breakfast, luxorious dinners and two owners who really love their guests! They are very familiar with the area, always have a map at hand and some suggestions on how to get the most out of every daytrip. A very varm and fond recommendation from us! We hope to come back very soon!

Thanks to the very warm and friendly hosts, Gerard and Madeline, we felt immediately at home at the Molino. There is definitely a positive energy all around this place. Could it also be the constant waterstreams which kept the Molino milling in the old days? Beautiful surroundings, lots of sightseeing in the nearby area (great shopping in Malaga!).But in the end, we just wanted to stay around the house for a dip in the pool, turtle-hunting in the nearby river with new-made friends, reading a novel in the shade, but best of all: having diner. Prepared with love and local products by Madeline and served by gracious host Gerard. You'll never want to leave again!

El Molino Santisteban has a lot of good things to offer; style, comfort, hospitality, culture, beautiful scenery and good food. It is a place you want to return to once you have been there. Madeline and Gerard have created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, the rooms are comfortable and the B&B is situated in a beautiful mountainous and culturally rich area. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back some time for the Flamenco festival in September !

El Molino is paradise! The garden with mature trees is wonderful to read a book, have lunch or a drink. The pool area is great for a beautiful sun tan and the kids to enjoy. The river flowing next to the house added an extra adventurous playground for the children to play. The house itself is nice and cool and has a great historic feel to it. The service is the best with wonderful meals cooked buy Madeline and great tips of the surrounding by Gerard.
All great places, Ronda, El Torcal, beaches, mountains are within close reach.
Next year again!
