“Great relaxing break”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

Just returned from the hotel last night. From start to finish the whole holiday was great. The all inclusive hotel is very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, some are very funny. The food throughout the week was varied and catered for all tastes. There is also a themed restaurant that you prebook that is worth doing.
My wife and I stayed in a standard suite and opted not to upgrade. What I could make out the only advantage the upgrade gives is the wine is provided by the bottle rather than the wine taps and spirits are braded rather than local spirits (local whiskey and gin is fine).
The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels provided.
We specifically chose this hotel as it is children free and located in a quiet resort, if you want lively night life then you would have to travel to Porto Rico which is a 10 minute taxi ride, you also have Port Mogan which is a 10 minute ride (there is also a free hotel bus).
For a relaxing quiet holiday in the lovely sun I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the upper floors for great views and sunsets.

Just returned from a week a this great adults only hotel. We had a ground floor room with a brilliant view of the sunset each night. The room was spacious and clean but the bathroom was tired and dated although functional. As with all package holidays I've been on in Europe there was the usual towels on sun beds situation but we were always able to find a place by the pool never the less.
There is a very relaxed atmosphere both night and day but be warned gentlemen that long trousers are required for dinner in the restaurant each evening!
The entertainment was ok for older couples. We weren't there for that really anyway and preferred to sit outside the piano bar with a cocktail or two. With 4 bars to choose from there was plenty of variety, as there was with the food too. Lots of choice and no queuing which other reviewers have mentioned!
All in all we found this a really relaxing place to stay. The bonus being very good public transport to the beautiful Puerto de Mogan in the next bay.
We would definitely stay here again.

I agree with all the reviews that everything about this hotel was excellent, the food was very good and varied and the drinks were very nice so there is definitely no need to upgrade to the black arm band. However I'm sorry but the entertainment was awful and assumes everyone is in their 60's or above and wants to listen to that era of music all the time and was extremely dull apart from the two guys on the guitars who were the only highlight for us. There is the usual Elvis tribute act (yawn!), The Four Tops, not to mention the dreary Piano bar every night which was like listening to Richard Cayderman. This fine if you like him but you could hear him playing even if you moved to the only alternative which was the sports bar next door and this doesn't have any music on to suit a younger audience.

One thing we were not told about before we arrived before we got there was the dress code for men either.

Just returned after our 3rd consecutive year at the suite princess. As our children are now grown up we appreciate the couples hotel with no kids in it.
It's ideally situated on the island with great bus service to puerto Mogan and Puerto Rico . The resort of Taurito is not huge but nice to walk around after dinner.
The hotel is superb, great staff , great food all you could wish for.
The lady who cleaned our room every day called Karem was always happy and cheerful and a typical example of the staff at the suite princess. From catering staff to reception and bar staff they are a credit to the manager of this hotel.
You will always get people of these sites who like to find something to moan about but they moan for the sake of it.
The food is plentiful and varied , the drinks are also readily available.
If you want a great hotel without kids in a fantastic resort you won't find better .
Also treat yourself to a massage on site it's well worth it. So relaxing.

Room Tip: Ideally on the left hand side of reception . Rooms 2008 - 2012 as these have the view of Puerto Moga...

This was our 2nd visit at the Suite Princess and yet again it was an amazing holiday. I emailed the hotel before our holiday and requested a similar room to last years and our request was met, they gave us the same room which made our holiday. This hotel is the best hotel if you just want a relaxing holiday. Food, entertainment, comfort and the staff are brilliant. It was nice to see the Lone Pepper Duo again the guys are brilliant! But sadly they are moving on from this hotel which is a shame as ourselves and others thoroughly enjoyed these guys. We stayed for a week from Thursday 17th to 24th April, the weather was mixed but we still came home with a tan!
We are thinking of booking again for next year. Can't believe some of the poor reviews that people have wrote about this hotel, if you want 5 star treatment then go elsewhere, we have stayed in 4 star & 5 star hotels and the Suite Princess is one of the best 4 star hotels we have stated in.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor with low numbers, these are the quietest rooms.

Where to start? We were staying here on the week leading up to Easter and it was a fantastic relaxing week. Exactly what my wife and I were looking for. The hotel workers were always happy and work very hard. Contrary to some of the reviews, the food was to anyones taste vegan, carnivores,Gluton free etc, etc. We met a couple where the wife was wheat intolerant and she told us the Chef even came out to show her what was edible for her.We saw replenishment of the dishes when they were only half empty to keep it fresh. The room was clean, fresh with lovely views of the sea and the water park next door and the sister family hotel opposite. We slept with the room balcony door open and listened to the waves lapping the shore it was that close. Two pools, one heated, one not and never crowded. Entertainment was good by Hotel standards although I agree with another traveller that the Three Tenors was to loud, so we moved to the piano bar which had the resident guitar Duo playing who we thought were really good as well. We had a 5pm ish pick up, so booked a spot in the shower room rather than keep a late room and the room had toiletries and we were supplied with hotel towels. Talking of towels, the Scandinavian and European partners were up with the lark and the towels were on the sunbed before daybreak. We did go down to the pool late one day and there were no beds available but when we spoke to the lifeguard he found us two and put them in a clear spot for us. So thanks to him we could sunbathes. Activities available for all tastes. Cooking lessons, archery, darts, Aqua aerobics( was always made to look fun) plus other stuff. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be going back for a relaxing holiday. Don't expect a High Octane holiday at this hotel. but for those who want to spend time relaxing with their loved ones, this is for you. Upgrade for a lovely lovely room and the extras as well.

Room Tip: "Floors eight and nine afford lovely views over the "Taurito2 resort and sea.
