“Perfect little cottage in a perfect location!”
Reviewed 11 December 2013 for a stay in November 2013

My husband and I adore this cottage. It was our second visit, as we loved it so much the first time. Slatters cottage is in a beautiful Cotswold village, right in the heart of the area, which makes it really quick to visit all the prettiest spots. The cottage itself is pretty much perfect in every way. Warm, cosy, well equipped and a wonderful place to return to at the end of the day. We spent every evening in front of the fire, and I wish we could have stayed much longer. I hope to return again in the very near future.

“Another Fantastic stay”
Reviewed 28 November 2013 for a stay in November 2013

Once again a great relaxing stay. Cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable. Everything that you needed including a delicious cake awaiting our arrival. Country walks starting just outside the front door and a lovely friendly pub in walking distance.

“There simply is no better holiday cottage in England!”

I have had the privilege of staying at Slatters twice now the first was for the most magical Christmas ever, complete with lovely Christmas tree! The second was with my Mum and the third was a present for my Sisters 50th Birthday. Brian is so helpful and the cottage wraps its arms around you from the moment you step over the thresh hold. If you want a peaceful retreat with easy access to every location in the Cotswolds this is the place (They even provide you with all the maps and times to key locations). I have been staying in holiday cottages for over 20 years now and I have still to find one that beats this cottage on price location, care, and attention to detail. Search no further just book it! Brian I do hope to get back up very soon...its been to long!

“Excellent value stay in a picturesque cottage.”
Reviewed 2 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

This is the third time we have stayed at slatters cottage, a beautiful cottage and a perfect base to explore the Cotswolds. The cottage has everything you need for a romantic or family stay. Brian and Ros have thought of everything from entertainment to tea and cake on arrival. A little bit of luxury at an excellent price.

“Perfect honeymoon cottage”

We booked Slatters Cottage for our honeymoon and it was simply perfect. The cottage itself is idyllic. Beautifully furnished, well-equipped and a fantastic welcome cake and bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. The location of the cottage is well positioned for exploring the Cotswolds and the village of Bourton on the Hill is a beautiful archetypal Cotswolds village, with a fantastic pub.
The owners have catered for almost every eventuality - I have never seen such a well-equipped kitchen in a holiday rental - including a great selection of DVDs and games.
Although the cottage says on its website it is not suitable for young children, our two-year-old son stayed with us and slept in the single room, which is very cosy and welcoming. The stairs in the cottage are very steep and really not suitable for small children unused to such stairs or the infirm. They are quite steep even for adults. We have very steep and narrow stairs in our own home so my son is used to this and was fine, but I really would urge any would be bookers with small children to consider the risks carefully if thinking of booking. If you don't have small children or difficulty with stairs, I would definitely recommend Slatters Cottage!
We hope to be back!

“The most delightful of cottages”
Reviewed 8 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Slatters cottage is perfect for your cotswolds stay, close to the most beautiful towns and villages and country walks. The cottage is equipped with everything you need and a lot of effort has been made to make it charming and cosy by the owners who themselves are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend it for your perfect break.
