“Fairly priced hotel!”
Reviewed 9 July 2014 via mobile

The hotel has a great cost performance ratio, offering clean and modern rooms. Very friendly staff, however it is sometimes very difficult to communicate with them as often they only speak Spanish and no or very limited English. The breakfast buffet offers a wide range of choices, so nothing to complain about.

We stayed with our two children in a family room for one night. It was clean and OK. Breakfast was wonderful. Swimmingpool nice, although there were many flies that day. The hotel is located in an industrial area, with a lot of warehouses around it. It's a good place for just the night. Good value for money. I wouldn't have liked to stay longer. No atmosphere at all.
There is a private parking underneath the hotel, which is nice.

This hotel is a short drive from Valencia city. Rooms are spacious, clean and decor is descent. Obviously it is a hotel placed in the middle of an industrial setting but none the less it does have a pool. 3 stars well deserved, breakfast and a cafeteria with a good selection of dishes. Prices start from 40 euros onwards. Set menu costs around 12 euros. Overall a good 8/10

A very nice hotel. Great room size. Amenities include, parking, wifi and breakfast. The breakfast includes a great variety, it's continental. I arrived through the train station in the center of Valencia and it was a bit confusing to find the place, it's in the outskirts maybe 30 min from the train station, however it's a great place to stay for the night and they have a great patio in the back. I will book this hotel again if I need to stay near Valencia. The price is also very very good.

I stayed here for 12 days in March 2012. The staff are friendly, professional, and very accommodating. The rooms, lobby, and common areas are all impeccably clean. As other reviewers mention, in the immediate area you won't find much in the way of dining or entertainment. It takes only 7 minutes to walk to the nearest metro stop (Paiporta), though, and from there you can go nearly anywhere you want in Valencia. The hotel is only about 3 or 4 minutes from a well-stocked supermarket (Consum), so if you need to get supplies to tide you over, it's easy. One Sunday, a day when nearly everything in Picanya is closed, I mentioned to the gentleman at the reception desk that I didn't know what to do for dinner, and a few minutes later he appeared with two sandwiches for me, along with a soda and a bottle of water, thus saving me from having to go into the city just to eat.

If you need to stay near Picanya or Paiporta, this is a great option: economical, clean, and pleasant. If you want to explore Valencia, unless you're coming with your own vehicle, you may want to consider something closer to the city center.

We visited Valencia and ended up staying here in Picanya. It is dark and looks different to the pics! The rooms were VERY basic but we didn't mind that too much because we planned on touring around. We had to go into Valencia to see or get buses to do anything. It is a quiet, slightly run down town with no restaurants but it is quaint in it's own way. Was not expecting much but was not impressed at all staying here. Picanya is not somewhere I will be returning to!
