Walking along the seafront at La Mata, we decided to stop here as they were advertising a decent priced lunch menu and the set-up looked pleasant, with many people already seated and enjoying a drink. The calamari was quite nice (hot, cooked well enough, large portion); the salmon way over-cooked, dry and full of bones; the creme caramel was standard (I'm guessing, pre-packaged supermarket) stuff and the 'chocolate cake' was a mousse-textured, tasteless square with artificial whipped, equally tasteless cream. Disappointing. And yet very busy.
