“Impressive first impression”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Very impressed on arrival and the staff were very helpful . We Shared a two bed suite with a friend and her husband lovely rooms and great facilities. Excellent views over coast and inland waterway . Did stub our toes a couple of times on the bed as other guests Balcony could do with more furniture when 4 adults in the suite. But when requested other chairs were brought to us . Also requested a further breakfast bar stool as only three in the room but we were advised thy were unable to provide, so we were all not able to eat at the breakfast bar at the same time. Pools were excellent and plenty of sun beds but like others would prefer if one of them had been adult only . Unable to take advantage of the special promotion at the tiki bar for champagne between 4pm and 6 pm as during our stay the tiki bar was shut due to bad weather on some afternoons which was disappointing as we don't understand why this was not available in this event at the other bars. Although main bar did have a happy hour between 5pm and 7pm which we took advantage off but we surprised to find out it closed by 11pm and with no other bars in the area there appears to be no local nightlife . Surprised there was no free wi fi and as we were staying at the hotel at the overnight parking costs. Overall had a very nice stay, would recommend if wanting a quiet holiday .

This was my first time at this property. Started w the breakfast buffet which was delicious. We sat in Franc's section. He is seriously amazing! Then I went to the spa which was also very nice and I was happy w my services. Then pool time! There is a mostly adult pool which is nice. We spent extra for a cabana and not entirely sure it was with it but it would be good if you want to be at the pool and not get sun. There was a mishap when our dinner reservation got cancelled due to a wedding, but the food and beverage manager made everything wonderful for us! We had a suite which was so nice I could have lived in it. All in all great experience. Would definitely go back.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a suite. You won't be disappointed

Overall, this hotel is very nice. Most of the staff were excellent, especially the Concierge's Sean and Frank (?) and the servers in the restaurant at breakfast were great. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom, which was gorgeous. One downfall with the hotel though is that things are really overpriced. I understand that it is a resort and it's resort prices, but 5$ for a bottled water...come on! Be sure to bring your own water and beer. That will save you a ton of money.

Room Tip: Unless you are an owner at this property, it is unlikely you will have a direct oceanfront room.

Perhaps because we just stayed in Palm Beach at the Brazillian Court, I was underwhelmed by the Marriott. That being said, the room was clean, modern well appointed and spacious. Nice kitchen and full size fridge.
There is only a couple of places to eat on the island, a typical Florida seafood fry palace with boat drinks. Two drunken Goats and some other place whose name I don't recall. The food was OK but seriously NO Place to eat and sorry I'm not doing Hotel food.
If you like to have a few cocktails in the evenings and then a few with dinner, you surely don't need to be driving miles away to eat.
Also beware! The Marriott Vacation Club "timeshare" will be all over you to "tour" their property for the usual bribes. We were phoned a few days before our arrival with what seemed like a courtesy call with directions, tips and advice. My wife was standing nearby and kept saying"When is she going to try and sell you something" And, sure enough the lady did try and arrange a tour.

Timeshares hold no interest for us as we prefer to travel where and when we like.
Overall, this is an attractive property but there really isn't anything that I would return for.

This hotel raised the bar on my expeditions for any hotel I stay at in the future. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They make you feel special from the moment you pull your car up to the moment you check out. The rooms are suites with a well equipped kitchen. It has a stove top but no oven. The suites are spacious, clean and feel more like an apartment than a hotel. Top end fixtures, include kitchen aid appliances and a Bose speaker system for the television. The lighting through out the suite have dimmers which helps make it feel more cozy. The pools were clean with ample room for people to swim and play. We were staying there when the hotel was sold out and even during the busy times at the pool there was still room to relax. The private beach is easily accessible from the hotel. My only initial concern about this hotel was from previous reviews discussing the area one has to drive through in order to get to the hotel. We quickly discovered that it is easy to avoid this area completely by accessing the hotel through Palm Beach Gardens. (Exit 79A) off of I-95. There are plenty of great shopping and restaurants in this area, including a publix grocery store where you can pick up some groceries for your stay. Going through Palm beach Gardens adds maybe 5 minutes onto your drive but it leads you to the hotel in an area I felt more comfortable with. This is a full service hotel so expect the services and associated costs. If you don't want valet parking and a concierge who brings your groceries to your room I would suggest looking elsewhere. I highly recommend having a car while staying at this hotel as this hotel is located in residential area, if you don't want to eat at the hotel you would need a car to access dining. We will be going back to this hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay here. We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pools are large with ample chairs/space. There is direct access to the pristine private beach. We made daily use of the well equipped gym. We actually could not fault anything at this hotel. It was an absolute pleasure!!

This resort is a family favorite. We discovered The Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island by chance a few years ago and since then, no other resort seems to compare. We love this hotel because it's Clean, Modern, Connects to the Beach, Kid-Friendly, Great staff, Great surrounding area, THE MOST AMAZING POOL - including waterslide/waterfall/gradual entry, Comfortable Rooms w/awesome kitchenettes. The kitchenette works great for us since we like to make our own breakfasts and lunches to save on $$. Although if you're at the pool, the burgers/fries and frozen drinks are incredible! The only downside is the daily parking fees and during the summer and other peak times, the rates can be very high.

Room Tip: All rooms we've stayed in have had excellent views since you're surrounded by water.
