We last visited in 2009 so it was very nice to return just to find the same quality of service and products as before. We felt at home.
Something new: The excellent booking system in the website included a graphical selection of table. I also received a personal email message in English, as the website was in Spanish only. Just awesome. I had invited some business friends to join us so I wanted everything to work as planned. And it did.
We had a variety of seafood starters to share, the main courses were brochetas de rape, tuna fillet and lenguado. The wine selection included the best Spanish choices for wines to accompany seafood, and the house Rueda (verdejo) was great price/quality. The desserts were nice, too. The total bill was ok for such a good meal.
Some 50% of the seats were occupied on a Monday in July, ok but seems to reflect the recession. Hope the business does not suffer too much, as this restaurant earns its place for centuries to come.
I am absolutely sure we want to revisit on our next visit to CdS.
