The owner greeted us on our late arrival and though speaking limited English was very charming and helpful. The rooms are clean and have nice wooden floors but the decor is a little tired. Our small room had a comfy bed and a small balcony with lovely wooden shutters overlooking the golf course, which had croaking frogs in the evening which was sweet. We ate breakfast here once, otherwise choosing to go into town, just a 10 min walk away. The day we had breakfast I think we were given more food than normal according to other guests - we were offered lovely cheese and meats to go with our delicious and generous array of breads and croissants with lovely jam and yoghurt and a great big pot of coffee. Breakfast was 8 euros. The main issue with this hotel is unfortunately the noise,. The sound insulation between rooms is non existent. It is also very evidently geared towards older golfing fans.
