This was the second Novotel we stayed in whilst travelling in France. The hotel is on an industrial estate on the outskirts of Orleans. Room was adequate, bed, settee, etc but like the rest of the hotel had definitely seen better days. It was cleaned daily but the carpet could really have done with taking up and replacing. The stairwell and corridors are badly in need of a face-lift. There is an on-site Novotel Cafe serving the usual Novotel Cafe pre-packaged and re-heated food but luckily there is also a fantastic Italian Restaurant (D'ell Arte) just round the back of the hotel. Breakfast was an absolute free-for-all - food ran out very quickly and sadly wasn't replenished as fast as it ran out. Reception staff were very friendly though which did help. It's not somewhere we would every stay again.

By giving your appreciations, you take time to show the inconveniences that appeared during your stay, and I thank you for it and excuse me sincerly for the incidents which disrupted your stay. I understand and am really sorry about it .
I attach a lot of importance to rectify our gaps and your remarks were well passed on Management Service and in the rest of our co-workers, so that our service to customers becomes irreproachable.
If you agree to communicate me your phone number, I shall allow to call you back to exchange more exactly as regards the future works to come, which would offer a whole renoved hotel.

We have been stopping off at this hotel on our way to the South of France for around a decade. It is a shame to see it declining so much. The place is looking tired, the carpets on our floor were simply worn out, stained and threadbare. Our room had not been serviced correctly, there were dirty soiled towels in the bathroom, no complementary toiletries, the minibar was not stocked, and wasn't working anyway, and if you sat on the bed it tipped up and deposited you on the floor. The menu has not changed much, not invention at all. Breakfast has become "Wild West" like, with a total emphasis on self service. You even have to make your own tea or coffee. Service is poor in general with not enough staff to cope. For the prices they charge it is very very poor value. Come on Novotel, up your game!

airco broken - bad mattress (too old) - mold in the shower - toilet too old - room and reception desk did not smell fresh: needs to be renovated as soon as possible as it gave a general used impression , not up to Novotel standards or too expensive...

Nice hotel, but has seen better days, the front desk, bar and restaurant have been modernised, but the rest of the hotel is still back in the sixties.

The room was spacious, the bathroom was good with a separate toilet.

The breakfast was more than adequate, while the food in the restaurant was well cooked and presented, but was only a snack, there was not a lot of substance to it.

I found the hotel expensive for what it had to offer.

Really good stay. Lovely welcoming reception. Convenient with lift access for our disabled daughter who's in a wheelchair. Nice large family room. Perfect!
Food a little overpriced for what it was, but breakfast was wonderful and kids breakfast is free

Rooms clean & comfortable but we were traveliing with a coach party & felt compromises had been made. No toiletries & the fridges were locked although there was not much inside them.
Breakfast on our first stay was an insult. Bread, jam, fruit juice & coffee only. Dinner was not much better & vegetarians were not really catered for.
On our return, comments had been made & there was an improvement with dinner & breakfast.
Bar prices way over the top.
There is a decent pizzeria behind the hotel as an alternative for food & drinks!

this hotel although good quality rooms ,but seems to lack something , the prices in the bar were very expensive for instance 1 pint of beer was a very dear 7 euros and lack of imagination at mealtime and breakfast consisted of tea, coffee and a bread roll with not so fresh fruit all round very poor meals as we had been travelling on a coach for 12 hours and did not arrive until after9.30 at night and all we got was a buffet which consisted of very dry chicken which i think was cooked earlier in the day ,would not consider this hotel again unless the changed the menu.
