Spent seven nights here at the very end of the season (with the hotel closing a couple of days after we left). It was a great deal for an all-inclusive stay and I would definitely recommend it as somewhere to go if you are wanting to relax and not one if you are wanting to explore the entire island due to the location of the place. It is easy to get to Hersonissos and to Heraklion, but not as easy for other locations. The destination certainly is not five star (and is more 4 star at a push). We were blessed by great weather and this certainly helped the trip. The outdoor pool is a good size and it is a stone's throw from the beach (the best section for swimming in the sea though is up at Lyttos Beach). The food started off very good, but as the holiday season came to an end and more customers left to go home there was a real feeling of winding down. The food started to decline and became rather repetitive. Hats off though to the Animation Team (especially Arturo and Stephanie) for really giving it their all to make the stay entertaining both for ourselves and also my partner's child (in the kid's club and discos). I can imagine that the destination would be even better in the heighy of the season, although the rooms could have been bigger and more spacious.....

The room is clean and the staff is very nice, but this hotel doesn't deserve four stars. We stayed on all inclusive and we found the food not tasty at all and repetitive. The beach of the hotel is very stony, not easy to enjoy it. Fortunately, we brought our beach shoes!!! But instead of staying at our hotel beach , we used to walk ten minutes to another one called : Analipsis beach, which is a pleasant nice sandy beach. So we regretted to be not in a hotel on the Analipsis beach instead.

I was travelling alone with my two teenage children and was made to feel welcome and safe. Our room overlooked the gardens however the balcony did not get sun at any point during the day! The housekeeping staff kept the room clean on a daily basis with towel change almost daily. My son had an issue with his camp bed which when reported was sorted within 10mins. A hot, powerful shower and comfy beds made up for the otherwise drab accommodation. The pool area is beautiful and the beach, metres away just fine. The waves we experienced most days made for some excellent fun. Beach shoes a must if you are to really enjoy the sea. The animation team slowly dwindled away during our end of season stay and huge praise must go to Arturo who kept the entertainment going. He was excellent fun and totally charming to all ages and nationalities! To be honest, he made our holiday with his hilarious beach volleyball commentaries! The food was incredibly repetitive and of such poor appeal my children and I resorted to chip butties most days!!!! I did not meet another group of people who had a good word to say about the food! A piece of recognisable meat would have saved the day. As for the drinks, I could not face them after day two! Watered down soft drinks, local spirits that tasted awful and cheap wine! I resorted to buying drink from the mini market! Evening entertainment was on a budget saved by the huge personalities of the team! Spa area lovely and the spa manager utterly charming, well worth the visit! Tennis courts are fine but equipment in terrible state of repair! Overall a lovely holiday let down badly by the food and drink!

We spent 7 nights at the Aquis Zorbas Village from the 15th of October 2013.
The room we had was 315 which was very spacious and recently decorated and cleaned every
day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stopped all inclusive which we have done
on a few occasions at other hotels and i would say there was always something i could eat,
the only thing i could criticise was there was sometimes a lack of cups and glasses and breakfast
was sometimes a bit cold.
The hotel has a nice pool and we never failed to get a sunbed at the pool or on the hotels section of the beach. the hotel is 45mins walk to the Towns Port where there is good selection of
eating places and nightlife, Taxi costs 8 euros to the Port.

Room Tip: Rooms are on 2 levels

Just returned from a week here, first time on all inclusive and it was great value for money. The assistant manager, George, was very helpful and explained that the hotel was not making any money at this time of the year but that they were just trying to give their loyal staff a couple of extra weeks employment. This was backed up by comments from the restaurant manager that staff here are better paid than in most of the other hotels in the resort. The staff were excellent. It was better than I expected with somewhere to walk and a 2 hour train ride into town etc. for 10 euros. The weather was great 24 to 26 degrees a bit windy one day and I don't really understand why the whole island virtually shuts down for 5 months when Malta and Cyprus stay open. Special mention for the animation team who were brill, on the one day they had off there was karaoke and they deserved a day off.

Room Tip: they all appeared good .
