“Lovely taste of a France gone by...”
Reviewed 9 August 2013 via mobile

This is a lovely place to stop off for a few days when you're exploring the region and you want to be off the beaten track. Reasonably priced with amazing rooms that date back centuries and a simple breakfast. The owners are welcoming and helpful. Calvisson is a very quaint and pretty village with a few good restaurants.

Since years we regularly return to this middle age townhouse, renovated with great taste for authenticy, materials and colours. With original art in fine colours of Regis all over the house (and sometimes soft sounds of classical music in the house). With vaulted breakfast room, patio, music room, rooftop terrace. And: with nice, helpful hosts. In a little town (good restaurant "Aux deux palmiers" on the market place) not yet crowded by tourists, near Montpellier, Nimes, Uzes, Avignon, Arles, Camargue and beaches.

We spent a delightful week based here. M. & Mme were friendly & helpful. The house is full of genuine French character.
