Nice hotel in the office park, nice clean rooms, just make sure you ask for non-smoking if you want non-smoking. The only issue I had with it was the quality of breakfast. How could you have no vegetable options at breakfast? None. Other than that it's OK, there is shopping mall nearby if you need to do some shopping. A 1 km loop around the office park if you want to run.

Room Tip: Ask for non-smoking, 1st floor has balconies (not sure if all).

Unfortunately I can't say anything particularly positive about this hotel apart from the fact that it was close enough to my work to be able to walk.

Frankly, you wonder what the architects of these types of hotels are actually trying to prove. Talk about stupid - having zodiac-type signs on your headboard when the beds are low and uncomfortable just doesn't do it for me.

Some other comments:

1. Free Wifi is good but has low bandwidth which can slow things down considerably at times. Sometimes it's not available at all which is really irritating.

2. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

3. The pillows are very thin and there's only two of them - there aren't any extra ones, either.

4. The electricity is switched on by using your room key in a slot. This is a bit irritating at times. Why can't they provide two keys so you can keep the aircon switched on?

5. The breakfast is not brilliant, but adequate.

6. The San Valentino restaurant is totally overpriced. I gave up with it the first night after being ignored for ten minutes. It also only opens at seven thirty p.m. which doesn't allow for an early supper. There are some adequate restaurants and bars in the mall next door so you won't go hungry.

7. Most stupidly, room service follows the same times as the restaurant so you could only get a snack (or for that matter, a simple cup of coffee) from 12:30 to 14:30 and 19:30 to 22:30!

8. There's no mini bar, just a vending machine up the passage. And the safe wouldn't work for me.

9. The TV has BBC World plus CNBC and Bloomberg. They also have the PPC (Putin's Propaganda Channel) masquerading under the name 'Russia Today' but which really should be called 'America Today as seen through Commie Eyes'. Like Fox News in the States, worth a look just to realise how grateful we should be to have the BBC, even if some of their toff presenters are odd.

10. As mentioned above, the room decor is a bit weird - it follows the Cosmo theme even down to galaxy-type graphics above the bed head - and unfortunately the furniture is a bit dated and uncomfortable. The desk is ridiculously small and difficult to work at as you have to shift the bed to get at it and sit down. And the carpets are all dirty.

11. One sinister thing I found was that - despite having been booked into a 'non-smoking' room - there was an ashtray on the desk. I realise the Italians are a bit backward regarding this subject, but it did make me understand why the room smelt a bit off.

And at about a hundred quid a night you wouldn't find me paying for it myself. Totally over the top and too far up it's own <fill in your own expletive> for me.

Room Tip: Take your own travelling kettle so you can brew up a cup of tea or coffee in the room. There is a ma...

Loved my stay, the room was high quality and quiet with a nice balcony and view.

Very nice breakfast catering for all tastes and the staff were very attentive and helpful even though I checked in very late on the first night.

A prettty average hotel, nice enought to spend a night if you need to be on this side of Milan. However, they pay very little attention to detail, and the service is bad. There was nobody at all attending the lounge and bar areas in the late afternoon, and we had to go reception to ask for service twice. The barman/waiter who attended us was not at all friendly or pleasant, and seemed to be annoyed that we had disturbed him. This continued into the evening when a large number of colleagues joined me. We were not made welcome, nor felt that the hotel wanted to give us good service. I will not be coming back unless absolutely essential.

I had a good stay at this hotel.
I used the gym and spa area. The gym itself is quite small and not a full extensive range of apperattus, however i still managed to get a good workout from the equipment provided.
The spa area consisted of a sauna and steam room, shower and chill out area. This is all in a secure room that needs a key from reception to get in to.

The restaurant that is attached to the hotel serves some really good food.
I tend to try to eat on a budget when travelling and as there didn't seem to be much to do in this area of town i eat in the hotels resturant. They offer an a la carte menu, but i was given a "Grill menu deal" leaflet when checking in. The grill deal consisted of a steak with potates and veg, with as many bread rolls as you can eat. Also included was a small bottle of water and a glass of red wine. Excellent value at €24. The food was real top quality. I must say that i haven't had such a good steak in a long time.

I travel quite often and have stayed in all sorts of hotels from 5* big name chains to budget rooms and to gauge, and rate, how good the hotel is i always rate on the following items - Bed / room comfort, quietness, cleanliness, shower and breakfast. All of these items lead to what we book a room for, a good nights sleep and freshness for the next day ahead.
Here is how i rated this hotel:

Bed room/comfort 5 out of 5.
I stayed in a junior suite and had the choice between a standard or Japanese themed room. As i work for a Japanese company i went for the Japanese room. The room was decorated in a Japanese theme without being too over the top. The bed was very comfortable and the furnishings were in very good condition.

Quietness 5 out of 5.
At times it felt as though i was the only person staying here such was the quietness.
The hotel is not on a major road and i did not hear any other doors slamming throughout the duration of my stay, which was very welcoming.

Cleanliness 5 out of 5.
The room and bathroom was very clean. I didn't find any unwanted dirt or hairs in the room.

Shower 4 out of 5.
The shower was very good. Nice and hot with a good water pressure.

Breakfast 5 out of 5.
Excellent breakfast. One of the best i have had for a long time. Quite limited on the Hot cooked breakfast, but the quality of the food was good. It all seemed fresh.

I would stay here again if returning to this area of Italy, and would recommend this hotel.

Useful post?

Room Tip: The Japanese themed room was fun. Made a change from the normal boring hotel room.

II stayed for three nights. The surroundings have not much to offer but easy access to many motor ways.
The rooms was of good standard but nothing special.
The breakfast was good and had a good selection of what you can expect to find.
Had lunch at the restaurant and it was very good!
Taxi fare to center Milan was about 70 euro.
If I'll go to Milan again I'll try to find accomodation closer to evening activeties.

If you're on business and looking for a short value-for-money stay, you could do worse than choose this hotel.

The food is nice, the breakfast is fine, the rooms are ok and the showers work.

Don't expect the staff to be exceptionally friendly or flexible. The fitness room is nothing special and the decoration. Well, let's say it's not exactly Italian design... So: don't come here on holiday, don't bring your family and make sure you're out for most of the day. Oh, and don't try to organise a meeting here. I did and was sorry for it.

Small tip: you can order a great cappuccino at breakfast, but the staff doesn't offer it!
