We have just returned from a week's holiday at this great hotel. If you are looking for a relaxed holiday in a great location with dedicated staff this is the place to go. The food and selection of wine is excellent with plenty of choice plus local dishes to enjoy. The staff who work here are a credit to the hotel who look after your every need.
We had room overlooking the lake which was roomy and comfortable. The pool area was well served with sunbeds (no towels reserving) with again great views over the lake and surrounding mountains. There are free yoga lessons 3 times a week that we both enjoyed and benefited from. Plenty of walks as well. If you decide to choose this hotel, you will not be dissapointed

Room tip: Lake view is a must

We have just retuned from a 7 day stay at this hotel. Our welcome was excellent, our room had a fabulous balcony with a beautiful view and was spotlessly clean, it had everything that was needed for an enjoyable stay. The gardens are very well maintained, as is all the hotel. It's jewel in its crown is it's restaurant, staff are very well trained and are quietly efficient, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is truly amazing, every dish we had was first class. If you want a quiet relaxing break with first class service, this is the place to go. We hope to return again to this wonderful hotel.

We were warmly welcomed on arrival and we were happy to learn we had been upgraded. As I was staying with my two daughters being upgraded to a suite was wonderful. The suite was immaculate, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The location is idyllic and incredibly peaceful. The somewhat remote setting results in being dependent on taxis (if you haven’t hired a car) for trips to the coast, villages or Velez Malaga.
The food was delicious, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovingly maintained and the pool is clean and looks down onto lake Viñuela.
The highlight of our stay was starting our days with relaxing yoga sessions. I went with my mother and my daughter, all at different levels of yoga. Danielle was very friendly and knowledgable, gently guiding and adjusting poses when needed. There was gentle music and incense creating a beautiful space for peaceful yoga. Danielle’s teaching style is soft, encouraging and professional. I recommend anyone start at least one morning with a yoga session. Danielle has inspired me to continue practising yoga.
We had a truly wonderful time.

If you want a small, friendly, relaxing hotel, this is the place. The hotel and rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The hotel is situated approx 20 minute drive from the coast, so you would need a car, It has views of the mountains and Lake Vinuela. All the staff are more than helpful and the restaurant serves excellent food. There is an excellent choice from the breakfast buffet and you can also request a cooked breakfast, we just had fruit and pastries. We try and speak a little spanish, but it's not necessary as all the staff speak english. The gardens and pool are immaculately kept and extremely pretty (see photos). Whether your room is mountain or lake view you have a balcony to enjoy looking out. The rooms have air conditioning, which you can turn down very cold if you require.

Room tip: Mountain or lake view, just as pretty. Pool not noisy
