Perfect place for a romantic trip to the past. Very well recovered monastery, with all the confort of today, but keeping all the charm from yesterday. It's a peaty that the service doesn't match with the building.
The hotel lives mainly from events like weddings and congresses, so the hotel guests are more like one "extra"! At the restaurant, althought the personal is very helpfull, the service is too slow in breakfast. We had dinner once and there was no fish, and just one meat from the menu. We had 3 first courses for 2 people, 2 glasses of Ribeiro wine,1 bottle of water and 1 "chupito" for 30.40€. A nice meal, not too expensive! Take care at the swimming pool, because the girl in bikini next to you could be the lifeguard!More
