Decent place to visit if you have more than 3days in Valencia. Me And my boyfriend Glo came to Valencia for 5days and after places to visit finished on the 3rd day, we decided to go slightly out of town and the first thing came up was so called "hot " spring. A tour called Do valencia seemed the only option but the prices are really high (€69 pp) and the tour was full. So we decided to rent a car from Budget next to Valencia Joaquin Sorolla. It costed us £40 per day just because we booked 2hours before we picked it up. We left at 3pm and reached there by 5pm. Because we climbed the mountains up and down up and down around and round when we reached there we were starving and everywhere was closed until 9pm. So we decided to go to hot spring which has picturesque views. Coming there with all high expectations about hot water, we were quite disappointed when we entered the water. Although it says 25 degrees it was quite cold - took 15 min for me to be in the water. After that got off the "cold " spring, we found 1 place to have dinner which is in the small town, called "La Plaza Pizzeria". It was a welcoming place with the owner and 2 cats outside - hint: don't get calamares because it would not be probably fresh as you are surrounded by mountains - try Pizza instead. Frozen glasses of Cervezas were a treat.
Our way back was much quicker and we reached Valencia in 1.5 hr. All in all, it is a decent experience. Recommended.

Visited this attraction on a Spanish pensioners outing, fun fun fun. Visited the dam, bathing areas and the town centre for luncheon. There is a lot of walking involved to get to places and it is very hilly. Do not expect to picnic by the river, it is not allowed, this means that pollution is minimal, the clear waters are teeming with fish. Great views of the gorge when you pass through the tunnels. Parking areas are small, you may end up roadside. Well worth a visit.

this will be an amazing experience for anyone who is up for an adventure. i just loved this excursion. The guide Mike was the best, friendly, knew all the information we needed to know, helpful and on time. excursion includes 3 stops. A park with waterfalls and breathtaking views, the famous hot springs where you can rock climb (short distance) cliff diving and just to relax and take photos. then off to another stop at the place where the dam water passes through.. fun and relaxing at the same time and another stop at the actual dam. Mike also took us to eat at a local restaurant where we ate mouthwatering tapas (excluded from the price) which was an experience itself. the waiter was the best, funny and explaining the ingredients and very funny stories (still don't know whether they're true or not) of various local drinks. all in all the day was perfect from beginning to end. would recommend it to anyone who is up for an adventure and those young at heart. as a side note, i would really like to thank again our guide for being the best guide ever!
