Upon arriving, we received a lovely warm welcome and were shown to our room, which were clean, modern, large with exellent facilities. We all had a great night sleep. The breakfast in the morning was nothing but superb. Home made jams, yoghurt and bread which were all delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The location was also just right, in a country location and about 20 minutes from the port of Dunkirk, so great for when you arrive/departing for the ferry.I will also highly recommend a local restaurant "Au tour du Monde" which is in the village of Bollezeele and is located in the square, next to the church. Higly recommended and will definately return again.

Genuinely want to keep this quiet as I want to be able to book there again with ease but the owners deserve the praise. We booked a two roomed bedroom - really pleasantly made up rooms with free wifi. Kitchen and dining area available for use as well as extensive gardens to wander. Very friendly owners and lovely homemade breakfast. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

There is only one phrase to describe our stay at Pantgat Hof, “tres tres bonne sejour”
From the moment we arrived in the evening for our 4-night stay we knew we had chosen well from our search of the area Chambre d’hotes on the internet.
The place itself was welcoming, very attractive, and the reception by Monsieur and Madame was equally warm-hearted.
The room we were shown to was not only clean but pleasantly furnished and decorated, with an equally lovely bathroom/shower room and a separate toilet. Clearly we had chosen one of the best we have had the pleasure of staying in, particularly for the price.
After a very comfortable first night, we were greeted at breakfast by our hosts and three other guests who came from Belgium, luckily for us all of whom spoke some English that worked well with our limited French.
The petit dejeuner provided was delicious because as we were to find out, Madame is not only artistic, but a good cook also. One of the delights on the second morning, in addition to the normal generous selection for breakfast, was her offering us her what she called her “bread and butter pudding” that contained plums and nuts amongst other things. Maybe not the sort of thing we are used to for breakfast, but it was delicious.
The décor of the maison was clearly done my Madame and amongst her many artistic abilities she showed us some of her embroidery work and lace-making, all of which was beautiful.
Our hosts enquired each day what our plans were and made helpful suggestions regarding our itinerary that were very useful. The weather while we were there was cold and wet, so it was good to have a radiator in our bedroom and bathroom that added to the comfort.
There was also the lounge/TV room (sadly no BBC) and the convenience of the well- stocked kitchen where we were able to prepare a simple supper in the evening. We also found having the use of a ‘fridge there was very convenient.
The setting of Pantgat Hof is very rural and peaceful; we didn’t even hear a cock-crow while we were there ! Apart from the property and the parking places there is rustic and somewhat overgrown garden with a pleasant walk around a field at the back. Just over a kilometer away is the village of Bollezeelle with its two banks, its boulangerie , and the small but useful “Utile” supermarket.
All in all, a delightful place to stay, with super hosts and great hospitality

What an lovely place to stay. Jean and Frederique made us feel like family. The bedroom was wonderful (we had the family suite - perfect for 2 adults and 3 children). We went to the Tour de France cafe 5 minutes away and had an amazing meal cooked by the lovely Flora. Highly recommend this b&b and so close to Calais.

Room Tip: Try the family suite (sea)
