In a place like Halluin there is not a great choice but we went hopefully. The first course a shared involtine was ok but small, uninteresting and ice cold. (Chill or cool I understand). This was the best part of the meal. My wife ordered pasta with prawns and courgette. One imagines that an Italian would pair a suitable pasta with the light flavoured ingredients. Fusilli a greatheavy twist crying for a thick meat sauce was not it. And how did random bits of penne appear with it?. My entrecote came as a thin slab of very chewy meat. The right colour but the wrong shape for what I understand as entrecote. The chips were hot. I can say no more apart from the glaring fact that any knowledge of Italian food had been forgotten if it had ever been learnt. Very un-Italian
