We've just spend the weekend at this hotel, dining in their restaurant Saturday night.
On arriving at the hotel the first thing you notice is that every car in the carpark is English, so word has obviously got out about how wonderful the food is here.
Within the hotel rate dinner is included, but you can upgrade to one of their other menus, which we did. We both had scallops to start with, and then steak and monkfish, choice of cheeses and then desserts. All extremely well presented and cooked to perfection.
Breakfast is served at your table. A choice of fresh rolls, pan au chocolat and croissants, yoghurt, cheese, jam and honey. Tea or coffee and orange juice.
The service from the owner is very friendly, happy/smiley and you feel that both her and her colleague both love what they are doing. They both had a reasonable understanding of English and will help translate the menu if necessary.
The hotel room was also more than adequate, good heating and very clean, and very comfortable bed with good quality linen.
Already planning on going back for New Year's Eve.
