“Second Visit”

Stayed here last year and came back in 2013 for the money it was spot on. Very basic, but also very clean and ticks all the boxes for a one night motorway stop. Both times Reception Staff have spoken exceptionally good English. I'm looking forward to next year, coffee from the machine and a choccy croissant from the Carrefor's.

Room Tip: Although no lift the upper floors have a better layout I think in 2012 we may have had a disabled ac...

This hotel is not bad for what you pay for it. Nice and close to the ferry.
Our room was clean and bed was ok for a good nights sleep.
Breakfast was good, what more do you want from a budget hotel.
Would i stay again yes no problem.

We stayed here for one night before our trip to Belgium - and it was perfectly fine!!
Close to ferrys, supermarket across the road.
I don't know how anyone can complain for the price you pay!
The bathroom was small - but still useable!
Air con in room too!!
Would stay again!

A typical Premiere Classe really. It DOES however, have air con in the rooms and the breakfast room, which we've never encountered before in their hotels.

This motel is very much used by van drivers, so there was quite a lot of noise early morning.

Nowhere much around the motel, but there's a Carrefour just opposite and a little café in that complex (Le St Louis), which closes early evening, but does cheap food and the staff are very welcoming.

Cheap en suite rooms as a stop-off for travellers

Very unfriendly staff, the bathroom made me feel like I was in a ferry cabin and when taking shower all the bathroom floor was full of water, the bedroom floor was dirty when I arrived, the heating didn't work and the temperature provided by the AC wasn't enough to heat the room, the wi-fi connection was awful, really, really slow.

The good aspects of the hotel: easy access to the car ferry, next to the supermarket and free parking.

I place where I wouldn't come back.

Room Tip: avoid room 38 unless the heating is fixed or it's not cold.

What can I say, we have used this hotels for many years in the past and never had any problems. This time we had a smooth check in as usual rooms were not clean but not a problem we went away and within a couple of hours it had been cleaned. Went out for the day only to come back to find that my ipad, phone and all the chargers had been stolen which might I add we're all in different bags which were all sealed so they obviously thought they had the right to have a good old rake. We reported this to reception who took no interest so we asked them to call the police, which they did and we had three police men come to our room and take a statement etc . The next morning we spoke to the hotel manager who said all he could do was check the cleaners room keys to see if someone had been in the room too many times. In the meantime we had one particular cleaner who was over keen to tell us she had nothing to do with it which made me very suspicious because she would not stop going on about it. So we had to accept that someone from the inside had thought they had the right to steal whatever took their fancy without any shame. When we were packing our things away two days later my ipad, phone and chargers magically appeared under the girls's dressing gowns which was obviously not there before and when we went down for breakfast we were asked if we got our ipad etc back. So they new someone had done it, but according to another guest who spoke very good English who had been conversing with the manager, the manager had told him that this type of thing happens every other week and he didn't know what to do. So he is either in on this organized crime or he Is the one that is left out of the loop. Either way as u will understand there is no way on this earth we will ever be back, oh and perfume me and my mother had bought on the boat coming out disappeared too but only realized this when we got home, much to our annoyance. So be wary if u do go because even of u hide things away they will still have a good rake around your possessions, my mum thought she had escaped easy but realized they had been in her room too. You should be able to leave something out in your room without someone feeling the need to steal it.

We paid 41.80 euros including taxes for an overnight stay after travelliing from Germnay before catching the ferry from Dunkerque. It is a prefabricated building, the rooms have a king size bed with a single bunk across them. Mys sister was in the room alongside ours and a positive is there was a secure joining internal door between the rooms. The shower rooom/wc which is very tiny is in the corner of the room and even though there are signs in the rooms to state no smoking allowed, both of our rooms smelled of smoke. There is air conditioning in the rooms which we lefft on all night. There was no bar etc in the immediate vaccinity a car journey was required however there is a Carrefour supermarket on the complex which is very handy for topping up the wine purchases! Not as good as our Travel lodges

Room Tip: if you dont expect much you won't be too disappointed
